• I have booked online a New Year dinner for 2 at 11:30pm at the restaurant (not bar or terrace) with excitement and high expectations to experience an epic celebration with jazz music • I had a call with a lady followed by a confirmation over email with pre-authorised full payment of 1200 SAR as a package for 2 for the booked table at the restaurant • Reaching the restaurant there was no valet available at his designated desk to park our car • We entered the place at 11:40 and we were informed our table wasn’t ready and she seated us to wait at the bar (while I mentioned that we are late and the table should’ve been ready since 11:30pm as booked and paid for) • Minutes later we were informed that our table isn’t available because the previous guests are enjoying dessert (things were getting heated because I knew nobody will stand up and leave before midnight) • she mentioned that actually tables are subject to availability when guests arrive (WHAT?! Why there’s a booking system then with payment?) • The lady insisted to have us seated at the bar or terrace instead of the restaurant because the prices are the same (weirdly enough that wasn’t communicated to me or clear in the description of the booking…it’s illogical for people sitting at a bar to pay the same package as people sitting at the restaurant which is a prime setup with view to entertainment) • We are still waiting for our table and it’s almost time to celebrate new year …completely sad and disappointed • We asked to see the manager and we were told he is coming but he never showed up…how rude • We asked for a full refund and was agreed on (the day after I received a call from the same lady apologising and confirming the refund being processed and I received an h later) • We left directly after the clock was 00:00 completely dissatisfied and disappointed after waiting and arguing for something that was our right • Absolutely terrible service and management as they overbooked in the attempt...

Read moreWas there during their first official day open and had a wonderful dinner tonight.
We were a party of six people, valet was at the front door and the staff welcomed us and showed us our table.
We had a few drinks to start with and all were really good.
For starters we had the oysters and fried oysters, mixed sashimi, burrata, tempura prawns, octopus carpaccio, and the twice baked cheddar suffle. All were amazing and super delicious, my favorite were the oysters and octopus carpaccio.
Then we ordered the seared sea bass, thermidor lobster, grilled lobster, wagyu striploin, and crispy duck (salad). With sides of mashed potatoes and fries. All of which were delicious, but the sea bass and crispy duck salad stood out as favorites.
Salted caramel chocolate fondant and strawberry cheesecake was our dessert, and will definitely have the fondant again.
In summary, the best seafood restaurant in Riyadh, hands down. Food and service were five stars, amazing. The service was 10 stars, super attentive and friendly staff that went above and beyond our expectations.
Highly recommend Scott’s at via Riyadh, whether a family outing, dinner with friends, or a business dinner, you...
