Came here on a Friday night, and the place was quite packed! The ambience was neat and tranquil, service staff were quick and polite, which I really appreciated. There was no greasy aroma, and everything was well-maintained.
💧 Water is not complimentary. Here’s what we had:
🍚 Pork Belly Rice The rice was a bit too mushy, not just from the gravy but also because the rice itself was too moist. The pork belly sauce lacked flavour, though the fatty parts were tender. Nothing extraordinary, but for $6, it's good value, especially with the pickled radish and hard-boiled egg on the side. A hearty, meaty meal overall. I rate: 3.5/5 🌟
🍚 Scallion Oil Chicken Rice This dish had a wonderful aroma from the scallion oil, which paired perfectly with the tender chicken and rice. Light, savoury, and slightly greasy in the best way, it was very addictive. The fresh spring onions added a nice crispness, and the hard-boiled egg with pickled radish tied the dish together. At $6, it’s quite a steal. I rate: 4.5/5 🌟
🫔 Egg Roll with Pork Floss The egg roll was thick and generously filled with pork floss, making it very savoury, but also dry. The omelette wrapped inside was barely noticeable, and I wish there had been more sauce to balance the dryness. The doughy skin was also a bit too thick for my liking. The dish had potential, but the ingredient ratio wasn’t quite right for me. I rate: 2.8/5 🌟
🐔 Fried Chicken Cutlet This was a standout dish. The batter was incredibly crispy, with the meat inside still juicy and deeply marinated. The flaky, crumbly crust was done perfectly, and the truffle sauce added moisture and a unique twist. They really nailed the fried chicken here. I rate: 5/5 🌟
🫓 Fried Scallion Pancake Flat and crispy, but nothing particularly memorable. However, the accompanying sauce, with its light spice & fragrance, helped elevate the dish slightly. I rate: 2.5/5 🌟
🍜 Pork Belly Udon This dish used the same braised pork as the pork rice, but served over udon with shredded cucumbers. There wasn’t anything special about it, and I’d skip it next time in favour of more interesting dishes. I rate: 3/5 🌟
🍜 Bubble Tea Ramen (new item!) This gimmicky ramen dish was one of the more intriguing items on the menu, featuring boba pearls in a milky broth. Visually striking, it had a light tea fragrance with a rich, creamy base. The combination of sweet, salty, and savoury flavours was unusual—like milk tea meets tonkotsu broth. Not amazing, but definitely worth trying for the novelty. The ramen itself was nice, and the side of chicken cutlet made the dish more satisfying. I rate: ??/5 🌟
🍜 Oyster Mee Sua The noodles had a nice bite and were cooked in a light, starchy bonito broth. The broth wasn’t overpowering, letting the fresh, plump oysters stand out. The addition of black vinegar added a delightful tang to this dish. I rate: 3.5/5 🌟 Drinks:
🧋 Milk Tea w Pearl Classic Taiwanese milk tea. I’d recommend opting for 50% or 0% sugar as it’s quite sweet. The milkiness was rich, and the tea had a pleasant fragrance. I rate: 4/5 🌟
🍵 Green Tea w Pearl A straightforward jasmine green tea with pearls. I rate: 3.5/5 🌟
🍋 Wintermelon w Lemon This was really refreshing. The lemon was the dominant flavour, making it a great palate cleanser after a heavy meal. I enjoyed it. I...

One of the must-try dishes here is the Signature Pork Belly Rice ($6.54), and it doesn’t disappoint. The braised pork belly is tender, melt-in-your-mouth perfection, with just the right balance of sweet and savoury. Paired with fluffy white rice, a marinated egg, and tangy pickled vegetables, this dish is the epitome of comfort food. Every bite takes you on a nostalgic trip to Taiwan, with flavours that remind you of home-cooked meals made with love.
Equally delightful is the Scallion Oil Chicken Rice ($6.54). The shredded chicken is tender and generously coated in fragrant scallion oil, which gives the dish its signature aroma. The sauce is sweet, savoury, and slightly nutty, enhancing the simplicity of the dish. This, too, brought that cosy, homely feel to the table—comfort in every spoonful.
For something a bit more adventurous, try their Pork Belly Udon ($9.59). The chewy udon noodles absorbed the rich braised pork belly sauce. It’s a fun twist on the typical braised pork rice, bringing together Japanese udon with Taiwanese flavours in one delightful bowl.
If you are in the mood for something quirky, you’ve got to try their latest invention: Bubble Tea Ramen! This ramen dish blends savoury and sweet in unexpected ways. Think springy ramen noodles with sweet milk tea broth and chewy pearls. It’s an intriguing mix that bubble tea lovers must experience for themselves!
Speaking of bubble tea, no Taiwanese meal is complete without a refreshing drink. We tried the Milk Tea with Pearl and Jasmine Green Tea with Pearl — both classic Taiwanese beverages that hit the spot. The milk tea was creamy and smooth, with perfectly chewy pearls, while the jasmine green tea had a light, floral fragrance that was refreshing without being too sweet. We also got their Wintermelon Lemon, which was wonderfully zesty and sweet, perfect for cutting through the richness of the...

Here’s what we tried:
🍚 Pork Belly Rice ($6) - This comes with an Ajitsuke Tamago! Nice amount of fatty bits in the meat, and gravy is nice. Would have loved even more sauce with this! Do note the portion for rice dishes is on the smaller side, might not be enough for bigger eaters!
🍚 Scallion Oil Chicken Rice ($6) - Comes with an egg too! The shredded chicken is on the leaner side. What really stands out in this dish is the aromatic sauce! We asked for extra sauce on the side and the staff were so nice to give us some~
🍜 Bubble Tea Ramen ($10.90) - Their newest dish which has been going around social media, I had to try (plus I’m a milk tea fan)! It’s a tea infused pork bone broth (tastes like a light, smooth mix between milk tea and tonkotsu ramen soup, but not sweet or oily)! Really not as odd as you’d think! Topped with chewy pearls! It’s actually really value for money as it comes with a whole chicken cutlet that’s coated with savory powder seasoning! The stronger taste of the cutlet goes well with the lighter ramen dish. It’s really a unique dish worth a try! If you’re scared, order it to share :)
🌯 Eggroll with Pork Floss ($7) - There’s really quite abit of pork floss in this~ We’ve tried the cheese version before too but prefer this original one, as you can enjoy the original taste much better! Great for sharing!
🧋 Milk tea w pearl (M) ($3.90) - The milk tea is not bad, quite fragrant. The pearls were also the nice soft chewy type~
🥤 Wintermelon w lemon (M) (L/$4.90) - Nice refreshing drink! Sweet & sour combination goes well!
🥣 Lemon aiyu w passionfruit ($4.80) - A must order! Light refreshing tangy dessert that’s the perfect way to end the meal! Really can’t stop after digging in. This also has popping boba inside~
☑️ Overall, a nice place that’s really wallet-friendly and great to bring the...
