When a place is this good, you just have to go back—twice in a month, and I’m still craving more! Bernie’s new location at Springlea is a must-visit, and the best part? It’s right next to Springleaf MRT Exit 1—super convenient! Here’s what I feasted on across my two visits:

✅️ Angus Ribeye Steak – My absolute favorite! Tender, juicy, and cooked to medium-rare perfection. ✅️ Garlic Prawns my type of starters ✅️Battered Shimeiji Mushrooms – Addictive bites you won’t stop munching on. ✅️ Nachos with Meat Dip – Bold flavors, super satisfying! ✅️ Lamb Chops – Thick, herby, and perfectly paired with refreshing mint sauce. ✅️ Blackened Barramundi – My 2nd favorite! Charred on the outside, juicy and smooth inside. ✅️ Oysters – Because you just can’t say no! ✅️ Homemade Banana Cake – Warm, fragrant, and so moist with ice cream. A must-order! ✅️ Waffles & Ice Cream – Because no meal is complete without dessert!

Old location Visit: Craving steaks? 🥩 We just had the most thrilling culinary adventure at @bernies.restaurant in Serangoon! This cozy American-themed gem served us a feast for the senses with its mouthwatering Western cuisine.

From fresh oysters to melt-in-your-mouth NZ Angus Ribeye and Wagyu steaks, each bite was a delight. And let's not forget the fiery Mala Wagyu that added a spicy kick to our indulgence! 😂 Safe to say, we overdid it with the steaks but loved every moment of it. They do serve other meats and fish...

I tried, 😋Blackened Fish The fish fillet is flaky and moist on the inside while crispy on the outside, with a light hint of spiciness from the Cajun seasoning rub and the charred part carry a smoky note to the dish. Squeezing a bit of lemon provides a refreshing zing. Come with grilled vegetables serve separely.

😋Wagyu Striploin Steak Grilled Aus wagyu beef striploin MB 4/5 (250g) served with homemade brown sauce & grilled vegetable. Succulent, juicy and melt in your mouth good. The beauty of this is that you get to taste the full flavour of the beef while still being able to enjoy the fat marbled throughout the steak! It gives an extra melt in your mouth feel with its high grade fat while retaining a full beefy flavor in the center of the cut.

😋Wagyu Beef Cube with Diced Onion The quality of the Aus wagyu beef cube MB 4/5 shone through as it was highly flavourful and incredibly tender without being chewy. This leave a strong first impression on the palate.

😋Sausage Platter This sausage platter is a feast for the senses. Consists of Chicken hot dog, Wiener Beef hot dog and Pork sausage. Really awesome sausages and all tasted great!

😋Warm Banana Cake with Ice Cream This is a must try if you are here!! Warm homemade banana cake with savoury salted caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream. A harmonious combination that will send you into an immediate state of euphoria.

😋Elvis Waffle The waffle was light and crispy, yet retaining the fluffiness on the inside. It is spread with peanut butter, topped with bananas and strawberries and I opt to have it with a scope of vanilla ice cream instead whipped cream. An indulgent treat...

Generally, I love their food and here are a few for special mention as they are too good not to be missed 💯

Starters Tortilla Chips with Tomato Salsa These gluten free tortilla chips complemented well with their lovely homemade tomato salsa. The tomato salsa is very fresh and it has the slight tinge of spiciness 9/10

Fish Fingers Perfectly breaded and fried to golden brown, they were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside 8/10

Mains Wagyu Striploin Steak We asked for a medium-well done and despite the steak being pretty thick, it was nicely cooked to the appropriate level, while maintaining the tenderness of the steak. This is my favourite 10/10

Honey Baked Chicken This grilled chicken has a crispy skin and was coated with a layer of honey. Meat is juicy and flavourful. Complemented by toppings of fresh capsicums and onions, this dish is very satisfying 9/10

Salmon Steak This thick and generous slice of salmon is crispy on the outside and succulent on the inside, definitely a delight to Salmon lovers 9/10

Desserts Bernie’s Crispy Waffle This waffle reminds me of my favourite waffle served at the boutique hotel that I stayed in Philadelphia years ago! It was baked to light golden brown and was very crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside 10/10
