I recently had the pleasure of dining at Good Bites, and I must say it was an absolutely delightful experience! The restaurant offers a cozy ambiance and top-notch service, making it a fantastic spot for a meal with friends or a casual date night. Plus, the portions are impressively HUGE!! you definitely get your money’s worth here! Food Review: Mushroom Soup (3/5): The Mushroom Soup was decent, but it could have used a bit more depth in flavor. It was creamy and comforting but lacked a punch to make it truly memorable. A little more seasoning or a hint of garlic could elevate this dish to the next level. The portion, however, was very generous, perfect for warming up before the main course. Golden Platter (5/5): The Golden Platter, on the other hand, was phenomenal! Each bite was a delight, making it the perfect starter to share with friends. The portion size was more than enough for a group, ensuring everyone gets a taste of each item. Salted Egg Pasta (4/5): The Salted Egg Pasta was a unique and flavorful dish. I made a reservation at this cafe after noticing its impressive 15,000+ Google reviews, and I can confidently say they absolutely deserve the acclaim. The staff members were exceptional - friendly, proactive, and approachable. They went the extra mile by promptly refilling our water when they saw our cups were nearly empty, and they kept our table clean throughout the meal. We dined with our kids, and I appreciated the thoughtful touch of providing small toys to keep them entertained. In terms of the food, it's undeniably value for money, especially with their bundle sets. We ordered a seafood pasta, which came in a generous portion but was surprisingly spicy. The seafood was delightfully fresh. Their drinks were not only Instagram-worthy but also delicious, adding to the overall dining experience. During payment, they even entertained our kids by offering them tokens to play on the Gashapon Machine. Both the kids and adults thoroughly enjoyed the entire lunch experience. I highly recommend this place. Service is good here, a malay lady was very attentive to our table when we require service. However, despite the high rating, food fell short of our expectation. Description of the physical menu and menu in the ordering page differs which made us feel shortchanged. Food is pretty pricey too while the quality was just not that great. Presentatiom could be better too,especially for the fries. Ordered the following and here is my take: Lamb chop - tasty and well cooked. Mashed potato is well seasoned too! Do share this dish though as you might find the lamb surfeiting after awhile. Burger - was ok but patty was not well cooked. Could do with more sauce. Chicken steak out - was ok, not the best chicken. Note that this does not come with calamari as per order page's description. Please update! Strawberry latte - just a disappointment. Literally strawberry milk with shot of espresso. When mixed, it doesn't compliment each other. Can't taste the coffee too. For $10+ after gst? Just no. Spicy chicken and fries appetizer - chicken is not even spicy the least bit :/ would have been good to have chicken coated with some spicy seasoning powder or sauce. Overall, it was ok but there are better cafe hangouts. Location is quite a distance from bishan mrt too but good if you want to grab a meal after a workout. Place is quite squeezy too so it's not wheelchair-friendly or kid-friendly if your kid needs a baby chair. Would i come again or recommend this place? I'd say please reconsider if it's for a celebration. Casual dining is fine but don't have very high expectations. Nice deco for photos at the entrace! Outdoor dining is great for bigger groups too.

The Da Burger Bomb's bun could have used some crisp/toasting (or whatever could make it unique/special); truffle oil was lacking on our Truffle Fries; Vanilla Latte missed the "latte art"; Creamy Chicken Pasta has a "raw smell" on the chicken even though it seemed to be cooked (I didn't see pink meat); Molten Chocolate Lava Cake, as the resto's own version, it failed to strike a good impression. They don't serve free service water. $ Bottled water is available on the menu. $ Note: Food here is Halal certified ✅️ ______________________________________________ Service 5/5: Service was lit! 🔥 Atmosphere 3/5: The vibe failed to connect. The "outing vibe" outside doesn't seem to continue as you go inside. Tight seating. Good for families, though, there are lots of cute toddlers during weekend brunch/lunch, but when they start to have some tantrums, "Oh no... Free scoop of ice cream surely won't be enough." SHARED restroom — pray you won't have an upset stomach or else there will be a long queue outside. 😅 Location 2/5: ~850m away from Bishan MRT (from Google Maps), you need to walk past through a lot of ped crossings. Price: $40-50 per person for Charizards like us. $20-30 should be enough for light eater Charmanders.

I saw the 4.9 star google review. Hence decided to come, but was utterly disappointed. This place is NOT wheelchair/stroller friendly, you have to climb a flight of stairs just to get to the cafe. (Minus point) When I arrived, I couldn't remember if my Google reservation was successful or not - the lady who attended to me at the door pronounced my name wrongly and didn't even bother to pronounce my name properly. (Minus point) To make things worse, Food was okay only (won't even say fantastic). Looks good in pictures but taste mainstream nothing very wowing. Beef bolognese tasted like hospital food with minced chicken and took longer than my other food. This! I just couldn't get over! Lasagne was HORRIBLE - worse I've had in my life. It was the last dish to arrive and it arrived COLD. What's even worse, who on earth eats Lasagne with CARROTS, it's literally Lasagne, tomato sauce, minced beef, a layer of julienne carrots. After half like 1/4 of it I couldn't make myself eat it anymore. I had to ask the staff to take away and chuck it in the bin outside the restaurant. Toilet was horrendous, located outside the cafe but belongs to the cafe. Was just... speechless. I had so much trouble having to change my kids there. Paid about 170$ for 4 adults and 3 kids. Price point reasonable but overall huge no-no. I highly WILL NOT recommend this place to anyone.

I went there earlier today for lunch with my bestie (her recommendation) and thought I'd share my experience. We ordered the Creamy Pesto Shrimp pasta, mushroom soups, premium teas, chicken ham aglio olio, tater tots and the cruffle + vanilla ice cream for dessert. And to be honest, I felt the food was lacking, especially the Creamy Pesto Shrimp pasta... it didn't taste of anything.. basically lack of seasoning. The prawns and cherry tomatoes didn't help the taste and I had no choice but added chili sauce to the mix but I think that just.. made it worse. The mushroom soup tastes good but I feel like it was way too creamy hence it felt heavy so if you are planning to eat something cream based for your pasta, don't get the mushroom soup too. The rest was good, no complains.. just the pesto pasta and the mushroom soup. As per the price, it is a bit on the pricey side. For 2 people to eat, we ended up spending $50+ for 1 person. The premium tea was expensive.. almost $10 which was what shocked me and it wasn't in a big glass or anything. So yes, the atmosphere of the place was great, very insta worthy but we came to eat so, it was a little disappointing. I would have given a feedback there and then but I'm an introvert lol 😂 Overall, I thought it was ok.. 3 stars for the food and price sadly though.🫤
