Burger (sgd15.5) was yummy! Patty juicy and not dry, relish was super tangy, cheesy umami-ish. Compact and fragrant burger, portion slightly small. Cocoa no. 1 iced version was 50c extra (sgd7), smooth and creamy. Coffee (sgd4.5) was insanely aromatic, tasted balanced, very palatable. Service was alright. Will be back again and soon! 2nd visit (Mar 2021) edit: Dropping 1 star for a few reasons. 1) We were there at 9am, plenty of seats available, I requested for one of the two sofa seats, the male server said there's a reservation at 10.45am, we'll have to vacate by then. I said OK to that, we went to the sofa seats, but moved shortly after to the 6 seater table in the middle at his advice. We were OK with that. We stayed till 12.15pm - one of the sofa seats was taken, but the other remained empty throughout. We could have sat there from the start. Not a deal breaker, but as a customer, why didn't you let us have that sofa seat from the start? 2) My friend asked if the eggs for built to order could be changed to a different style. Male server said no, anyway they are known for their scrambled eggs. Later I overheard the servers talking among themselves, about how they had run out of packaging for salad, to which the male server said, he'll just tell customers the chips are fantastic and to choose the chips instead. It's not a very bad thing per se, but I felt that I was being fooled as a customer. Not a place I would come back to, feel happy with, get to know wait staff personally. 3) The place is small, and crowd is very manageable on weekday mornings. Just 3 to 4 tables taken. Despite knowing who ordered what, the servers will shout out your name, and you'll have to walk a few steps to collect your drinks and food. We did that with no trouble, but one or two customers just didn't hear their names, so our conversation was interrupted quite rudely with the male server shouting someone else's name a few times. Again, not a very bad thing per se, but, I will choose someplace with no shouting for our next brunch meet up. 4) Sourdough was way too tough. Brioche was alright. Come for the coffee, but not for the vibe. Breakfast food was passable only, burger was nicer. Don't think I'll be back in a while.

Glad they had the pronunciation on the menu otherwise I would have embarrassed myself! All it is is "loaf!!" 😂 Anyway, we lucked out because the place is actually pretty small. But they have a nice long countertop area that was empty! Upon entering a gentleman went through the items on the menu and told us about a couple specials as well. The staff here is just super friendly and have a good vibe about them. (I'm pretty sure it is a family of four running the restaurant) For drinks we went with a mocha and cappuccino. Service is a touch slow, but understandable as everything is made to order and it was really busy. But I would have preferred the drinks to be served a bit sooner (took over 10 mins until we got them). Definitely were perfectionists with the drinks taking the time to ensure they were . He even wanted to redo my wife's mocha because the chocolate didn't melt down properly (they use dark chocolate and cocoa powder). That's going above and beyond good service! As for food, we had the good morning burger (scrambled egg, melted cheddar with onions and sambal mayo) and the hae bee hiam melt (spiced shrimp floss with onions and avocado). The brioche in the pictures look as good as they taste. Super soft and chewy. It goes perfectly with the runny scrambled eggs with melted cheddar. Note that because how soft the bread is and how hefty the portion of egg is, it gets a bit messy and you may end up with a ton of excess egg at the bottom of your wrapper. Considering how sharp their price points are (about $8 for the sandwiches), it absolutely was worth it. We ended with a couple brown butter madeleines that are made to order. Wow. Blew my mind. It's got a nice crisp outer edge with a super delightful fluffy center. Wish we ordered more haha. Overall I definitely recommend this place. If it's busy, definitely expect to wait. So hopefully you aren't hungry upon sitting. But the food is worth it. If I had restaurant experience I would want to give them advice on how to be a touch more efficient (maybe it's anticipating service of x amount of people and preparing certain things beforehand? Or hiring a couple additional folks to help?). Thanks for the food/service and we will be sure to return!

Lowe'f is a wonderful cafe nestled in Springleaf Nature Park, with a great ambience and close to nature. The staff are friendly and very accommodating and welcoming. The carpark next to the cafe can accommodate up to 20 parked cars, and the place has ample space for families and cyclists alike to sit down and chill. Their menu selection is simple, and we had a platter for 2 people, which consisted of salad, 3 pieces of assorted bread, cheese, berry jam and a hazlenut almond butter spread for the bread, smoked salmon, caramelised onions, as well as 2 flat whites coffees and a super lemon tart. The Sharing platter is good for 2 people for brunch, and the variety was excellent. We had fun combining the various flavours and textures, with every bite providing a different experience. We added scrambled eggs as an addition, and it pairs with the smoked salmon and bread. The coffee was made with alot of Tender loving care, and was excellent. The flavour profile of the Colombian aged beans was smooth, nutty and a wonderful aftertaste. This is one of the best coffees that we have had for a long time. We ended off the session with the super lemon tart (which has a wonderful sour super lemon type taste), the rarts brings together a strong flavour accentuated with some lavender and a wonderful pastry to bring it all together. Highly recommended. Lowe'f makes some wonderful bread (Seasonal) and their sourdough and brioche are excellent. We highly recommend the place for families and friends to chill and enjoy some greenery.

I had my breakfast on a Tuesday morning at 9 plus so the place wasn't crowded. Service staff is very helpful in suggesting how I could store the loaf of sourdough that I intend to take away. Everything is self service, including collection of drinks, food and clearing the table. My cappuccino $5.50 came first and the ratio of coffee and milk is perfect. The coffee didn't taste bitter, and the milk brought out the aroma of the coffee. Love it! Sorry for the lipstick stain on the cup, I was too eager to have a taste of the cappuccino before I recall that I should take a photo. The cappuccino may look common, but it tasted heavenly. Breakfast is Avocado Toastie $13 with add-on caramelized onion $1. Food is served on a plate that looks like a chopping board or the tree trunk. Love how they have taken the effort to make the experience special by having the food blend into the green surrounding. It's a hearty serving, and I absolutely love every bite in the toasted bread and creamy avacodo with cream. I feel that this is a great portion for brunch, so I could just have a light salad at the later part of the afternoon if I'm hungry by 3 pm. The place is windy, but the next door drilling really kills the peace. Love the greenery around the whole open concept cafe. Overall, I love this place. It's worth taking two buses, No. 811 and 169 from home in Yishun to get here. I will definitely come back again on my off day.
