Omama Shop Café — Restaurant in Bratislava

We went there knowing the bad reviews, but as we were the only customers we decided to try. The decoration it's very cool and the chef prepare us nice food. There were another 2 waitresses and they just took our drinks order, they didn't look after our table at all, they prefer to check Facebook behind the bar when we were sitting in the terrace. We even have to look for someone to get a couple of napkins. Then some people start to arrive and the only person taking care of a costumers was the chef. When we finish our meals we ask for the bill, and they tell us we have to pay at the bar. They don't accept card. The bill was 14'80 euros but when we ask for it, the waitress who was with her phone kick the chef out from the cashier and she start to do weird things on it. Her college ask her if it's equally 15 euros and she nodded yes! They print a 15'00 euro bill. As you understand we get very upset, not because of the 20 cents but because they just lie about it. Service was invisible. I do not recommend this place. You can find few other restaurants...

Love this place. We visit from California, visiting my wife's family in Petrzalka. For past 18 years. One of My best friends in Bratislava takes me here when we get together. Love the atmosphere, owners are awesome, good beer. And although pork knee dinner is pretty typical, and you can say nothing special.... To me it's special, and it's GREAT, particularly from Omama. The pub/restaurant is known for its rich collection of historical outdoor advertising signs covering the walls.
