I rarely leave reviews, but our experience on 17/04/2025 at this restaurant was disappointing enough that I felt it necessary to share.

To start, our food took over an hour to arrive. When we raised this with the owner/manager, her immediate reaction was not to apologize or express concern, but to ask to check our order time stamp—as if she didn’t believe us. That set the tone for the rest of the afternoon.

She then vanished - a disappearing act Houdini would envy , without offering any apology or explanation. When the food finally did come, my order was incorrect. Several ingredients listed on the menu were missing from my salad. When we called her over again to let her know, instead of addressing the issue professionally, she called the chef to our table and reprimanded her right in front of us, which was incredibly awkward and uncomfortable. Nothing makes a customer feel more at home than watching a live workplace disciplinary session.

The chef explained that certain items only come with the flatbread version of the meal, not the salad. However, this distinction was not mentioned anywhere on the menu—something we would have appreciated knowing beforehand.

What’s most disappointing is that the manager never once returned to our table after that. There was no follow-up, no apology, and certainly no effort to make things right. A bold customer service strategy.

She left everything to the waiter, who was very kind and professional despite being left to deal with the fallout of poor management decisions. It was also obvious when we left that the manager had gone out of her way to avoid us entirely.

The staff (other than the manager) were doing their best, but unfortunately, the lack of accountability and professionalism from management completely ruined...

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality. The people here are nothing short of amazing—friendly, welcoming, and always ready with a smile. You instantly feel like part of the family. What truly sets this place apart is it being pet-friendly. My furry companion was treated like royalty, which made the experience even more special for us. It’s rare to find a place that makes both humans and pets feel equally at home.

Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place filled with heart, soul, and the kind of care you don’t come across often. We can’t wait to...

We were celebrating 🍾 one of our friends' birthday. The restaurant that we wanted to go to was still closed, so we landed up driving and found this nice place. Pedal  & Sprocket,  close to Lanseria. It is a pet friendly place. The staff were friendly and we enjoyed ourselves.💃🕺. There is also a place to play for kids.

The food was nicely prepared and also tasted the part. We tried the new waffle with chicken mayo, avo, and bacon. It was delicious😁🤪. We end up with an ice cream. I would really recommend this place their prices are reasonable. We enjoyed our morning, and I...

This place is absolutely amazing, Mr Pablo and his team are so welcoming and accomodating. The restaurant is located in Lanseria and is absolutely spacious, tons of seating area indoors and in the garden. It's perfect...we spent hours there in the garden taking in the sun and playing bananagrams. The drinks are delicious and so well presented. The food is incredible, packed with flavour and prepared with so much of love. Quality on your plate and the attention to detail is brilliant. This restaurant is definitely worth the visit...a true gem in the heart of Lanseria 💞💞💞

We celebrated my daughter's 2nd birthday at Pedal and Sprocket Country Cafe and it was absolutely perfect! The food was delicious, the entertainment was fantastic, and the atmosphere was just right. Mignon and Andre were incredible to work with - their organization and communication were seamless, and they truly went over and above to make our day special. I would highly recommend Pedal and Sprocket for any event - they truly know how to make magic happen! Five stars isn't enough - we'd give them ten stars if we could

Pedal & Sprocket, what a beautiful setting. A hidden gem just off Pelindaba Road. We just wanted a nice quiet setting with some decent food and a little bit of Sunday vibe. We don't regret turning into the venue. Sat under lush trees, a comfortable setting with live music today. Food was good - we're always sceptical about new places but not today. Thank you Pavlo, we'll be back and next time we try your infamous waffles you spoke so highly of. 🤗👌😎💛
