UPDATE: changing my review from 5 to 3. The Ramen broth had some meat pieces. She probably didn’t add any meat but used the broth that had meat already mixed in it. Hence reducing my rate. It doesn’t reflect on her service, just the miscommunication and lack of availability of vegetarian options when they stated it’s available.

A hidden gem! This cozy Korean restaurant is run by two kind older women who cook everything with so much love and care. The food is absolutely delicious, the portions are very generous, and the prices are incredibly affordable—especially considering how close it is to the main tourist spots.

Atmosphere: This is our first meal in Seoul after having slept through our flight without any meal so we were understandably famished.

Service: Self service: order at the counter, you’ll be given a number, once ready, they will call out the no in Korean, pick it up and once completed return the tray.

Food: We ordered the pollock (aka hangover soup) and beef stew. It was hearty, warming and comforting in the cool afternoon.
