Tucco Real Food Eixample — Restaurant in Barcelona

I know it's probably sacrilege to eat Italian when in Spain but this pasta is so fresh and delicious I don't feel bad at all. This restaurant allows you to build your own pasta (they also have other menu items, but the pasta is the focal point) and it comes with a dessert and drink as well.

I got the tagliatelle with tomato pesto, cherry tomatoes, and the chicken and it was perfect. You can taste the quality of the noodles and the sauce compliments it perfectly. The house red and the cheesecake slice I chose for dessert just made it even better.

And of course, the staff here is wonderful and were happy to explain the menu to me in English since my Spanish is pretty poor. Would definitely recommend and have saved this place for future trips to...

During our recent trip to Barcelona, we had a delightful lunch here, and it was a highlight of our day! The restaurant had a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a family meal. We loved the variety on the menu, especially the ability to build your own pasta, which were both flavorful and generously portioned. The sauces were rich and authentic, making it clear that everything was made with care. Dessert was awesome. The restaurant has a great design and atmosphere, the pastas are “home made” style, so you can’t go wrong in your options. I would recommend the pasta with a bit of wine which makes the taste marvellous. The service and staff are very friendly and willing to help and recommend the dish of the day. The waiting time is quite short, so you won’t get starving during your stay. The portion is suitable for one person only, however if you feel like you need just a bit more I’d suggest having one of their empanadas. Veggie options are also available for the pastas, sauces and empanadas. Good and affordable...
