Roots of my home — Restaurant in Calp

At this afternoon of a fresh October I had the opportunity to eat a amazing “Menu del dia”, that started with a super taste home made soup to start(photo ) and finish with a huge piece of steak with salad and fries. The menu include a bread and mayonese to start as usual and to desert you can get coffee or something else. Miriam herself served me with amazing and striking smile at beginning and the waiter was cool as well. The two plates are big and enough even of you are big like me. Plus the place is simple but different of the restaurants around got a good price....

I've eaten many burgers in my life and I've got to say that here, this burger qualifies to my Top3 ever. If you combine that with very competitive price you will exit this place with full stomach and smile on your face. Only problem for me was to communicate with the staff in English, but we managed it out! The place is badly marked on the maps, as it is on the other side of this building. Absolutely horrendous. The food is mediocre at best and at worst… Well let's just say my sister got her chicken burger MEDIUM RARE! The meats were dry and though to chew. The service was ok-ish. It was kind of fast but seeing as the place was almost empty it could've been a lot faster. The atmsophere was really bad. The decor was ok but it was really noisy mainly due to the kitchen.

Overall: very bad place....
