Can Quicu - Restaurant i mini golf — Restaurant in Lloret de Mar

We went there to avoid the beachfront expensive restaurants. 1st mistake... There was a somber atmosphere amongst the staff and I soon found out why. A lady greeted us without the intention of being too welcoming, which she managed epically. She had a very bad cough and I also realised she wasn't always putting her hand to her mouth. None of the staff smiled, except for a young girl, who gave us an apologetic smile twice. It was before ordering that I heard the coughing lady talking to the staff as if they were dirt. At that point I wanted to leave but we were hungry and tired. We ordered from a Very Expensive menu and received bland take away-like food. TBH, the staff looked terrified and kept looking up to see where she was. We went to pay and met the lady herself at the till. She added up and grunted the price to me, strictly no eye contact. I'm angry I paid for it and I know that in Loads of other places I would have paid At Least half the price with better...

We had lunch here and ordered the days special which was a beef burger with chips. When the burger arrived it was inedible. It was soggy and tasted awful. The chips that came with the burger were half cooked at best. The kids were sharing a Pizza Salami and between them didn't even eat half of it which has never happened before. The pizza was simply bland. Service through out the whole meal was slow and not very organized. When I finally got the bill after asking 3 times I went up to the bar to pay. After asking me what was wrong with the food I was told that it was the best meat available and that something with my taste was wrong as English burgers were different to spanish ones!?! Ironically I'm not English! I would never return to this restaurant or recommend it to anyone else. Poor food along with very poor customer service in this restaurant. Had walked past a few times and then decided to come in. Sat down, place looks welcoming, menu pictures have the hue quite far off so difficult to see what is actually offered in comparison to description. Went with a large bottle of water and a cola zero. Brought over quickly with smiley waiter. Ordered mixed paella to share. It came to our table with a waiter who dished it up for us, not the usual but went with it. Unfortunately, paella looked with a hint of cremation, looked like it has burnt severely; the mussels crumbled as you touched it, and the meat part of the paella was just hacked up bones. There was very little to be retrieved so essentially just ate very overly-compensated-with-salted rice. Might be nice if you have chicken and chips but would categorically recommend avoiding anything seafood...
