Trattoria da Michelle — Restaurant in Mazarrón

We had to come to Spain to eat the best Italian meal - including eating in Italy! A truly wonderful and long, relaxing lunch in great company. 5 stars for everything, including the exquisite food, amazing service and warm ambience. We started with a superb shared cheese and garlic pizza and ciabatta rolls, hot and straight from the oven, with a choice of high end olive oil or picante olive oil for dipping (with some addition of freshly ground Himalayan salt). My Tuna Siciliana was spectacular and ticked all the boxes....and even some I didn't know I had. The lasagne was a delight as was the salmon creme and rigatoni ragu. I had to spend a moment in quiet contemplation with the Baba (like Baba au rhum) with pistachio creme & Amaretto served as a mouthful of heaven gifted by the restaurant when we finished our meal. It may seem too good to be true, but trust me, it was THAT good. PS too busy communing with our food to take pictures. 😋 Took plenty...

Everything was wonderful from trying to make a booking initially, to being personally greeted as we entered the restaurant, to the fabulous home-cooked food (served piping hot), to the excellent service and the very reasonable prices. We can't wait to go again!!! We also took a dinner home to someone who couldn't join us and this was also great food with a separate little portion of parmesan. We especially recommend...

Had lunch here today, this is our third visit to the restaurant unfortunately we will not be returning . I had the pizza unfortunately the pizza dough is overloaded with salt making it not edible, my wife had the salmon with salad and chips and again salt covering the food .This is a shame as the people running the restaurant are ...
