I don’t like writing bad reviews but unfortunately I feel like I have to point out a few things. We were so disappointed with our food, our starters came quickly and were ok, but then we had to wait over an hour for our main course. There were 5 of us, 2 meals came up 10 minutes for the next 2 and the last one 20 minutes after the first. Also the potatoes they ordered were chips not potatoes. I ordered a tuna dish, the waiter explained it to me (I speak Spanish) and it sounded delicious but when it came it was pretty much inedible (I don’t think I have ever not eaten a meal at a restaurant - I’m not fussy) but this was awful. It was bland and had a very strange flavour. Plus it had prawns and muscles in the broth but these were not mentioned on the menu. I spoke to the owner and said he really should be careful as if someone has allergies (thankfully I don’t) he could cause a lot of issues - he seemed shocked and rushed off to talk with the kitchen. But I got no response, no apology and nothing deducted from the bill. Also the same with the linguine with tomato sauce - it had cheese mixed in and again my niece couldn’t eat it.
They need to review their menu and make it more...
Read moreSmall and unique restaurant tucked away with a small door from the street leading up to the restaurant. When you arrive the waiters are pleasant and happy to speak to you in either Spanish or English. There was a mix of both Spanish and English eating on the Terrence overlooking the main plaza; always a good sign. We were presented with two set menus to choose from. One menu was €12 euro and the other €20 euro for three courses. We opted for the slightly more expensive one and had Pil Pil and mussels in spicy tomato sauce. For mains we went for a sole and chicken dishes. The whole bill including wine was around €60 euro for two. I would...
Read moreTourist-trap! On the postive side; The restaurant has a nice view located dowtown Mijas. I ordered the seabass, being a quite small dish. With an unreasonable high price. The fish was ok, the presentation of the dish was uninspiring, lacked creativity and flavour. The service was good, but the prices was high; even charging additional for bread. Paying 30 euro for a dinner. I was left with a nice scenery, still hungry backtracking to my car. Summarizing: good service, nice scenery, terrible prices and food. I cannot recommend this place unless you just looking...
