Restaurante La Cumbre Molvízar — Restaurant in Molvízar

Came here for a quick 8pm meal on Thursday and were reading on Google about the €12/€13 combination (starter - main - dessert option).. this was also stated in the menu we were offered. Waiter said "that's only in the morning, until 2pm", so we were pushed to order from the menu. Sadly: salad was good but pricey (photo, €15 for 2 persons), we had avg. lomo, thin pieces of chicken and two pizza's (see photo) 2 x €15 and freezer quality. Wine average, pricey drinks anyway. Overall without desserts over €90 (4p). High price, low quality for Granada. Probably the owner thought we were "just" passengers who he could charge more than the good value menu option, but we own a house only 10 minutes away, so we know this is not OK. Bad feeling...

We were served by Manual and Joaquin. Both waiters were friendly, patient and tried very hard to communicate with us to help us choose what we want from the menu. Atmosphere was so peaceful and welcoming even though they were busy they were very attentive! Now let’s talk about food! The lamb chops taste so clean yet juicy. Honestly I’m so happy we stopped here. Portion was generous too! My husband had the chorizo and he was extremely happy with his order too. Lastly the fruit salad the gave us had a unique flavour to it....

Loved this rustic place. The octopus in sauce is probably the best octopus I’ve ever eaten. Incredible. The tomato and onion salad is the simplest thing, but leaves nothing to be desired, delicious.
