We had a very chill and tasty dinner at La Miranda. We were one of the first guests there and sat down outside, since the inside of the restaurant is not air conditioned and every table was available for us. The interior is minimal but lovely and modern, quite a small place. Small tables created a casual and intimate atmosphere for us both. Though the restaurant is in the middle of the old town, it is located at a small square without all the hectic and traffic. We ordered dishes to share between the two of us and omg - it was soo good! So delicious, that we actually ordered the same dishes a second time haha. Very fresh, creative but simple, high quality and just right to the point! And, honestly, we even liked it more than the Michelin star restaurant we tried in our home town. The pica pica was awesome as well as the duck dish - exceptional meat!! The ceviche was a bit too sour for my taste (very first time I tried it), but my partner liked it very much. All in all so much taste and love, you can really tell that the staff and chef are quite young and keen to interpret (traditional) dishes in their own way. We appreciate it a lot! The service was also good, very casual and natural - just how we like it. Not annoying or overly fake-friendly at all. Since the restaurant was quite empty that day, we hope that it's not the usual case - this would be such a pity!! Some people went by and decided to visit another restaurant because there is no AC inside - I just thought oh guys, you are missing out so much! Thanks for the great dinner and evening. Will definitely go again and already recommended it to my people who also visit Mallorca! I hope you will have great success and all the best to the...

Rude staff and unwelcoming to families with babies. We got a table outside in the square for a drink and as the place has no changing station in the bathrooms, I started changing my crying child on his stroller (there was only pee on it for the record). I was immediately asked to move away and stop changing him (may I reinforce that I was even already putting a new diaper on him but the lady did not seem to care about that or about the fact that he was completely upset).

There was only us and two more people at the restaurant that had nothing on their table yet and were sitting two tables away (outside in a public square). Without any empathy to our situation we were basically chased away by the waitress from the restaurant.

You would expect in an island like Mallorca that places would be more child friendly. Truly...

Unfortunately our experience here was not the best. Location and outdoor sitting is very nice and there were a lot of people dining so we grabbed the only available table. The food was not the worst but the rice&veggies wok had too much oil in it and the beef tacos were not even tacos but stuffed triangles of some sort of flatbread (so you could not even eat it as a taco). The portions were quite small considering the price but the biggest letdown was that we had to wait 30 minutes for the tacos and - there were 2 of us - one of us got the meal good 10 minutes before the other. So in order to eat together - and we really only had those two meals - I had to eat mine cold. No explanation or apology from the waiter, even though he noticed our displeasure. I am sorry but we will not be visiting this...

Okay so this place we randomly stumbled upon. We were just wandering around Palma and came across this absolute gem. Ate the Gyozas, Salmon Tartar, Stake and one more dish. All amazing, complex and experimental but asian flavours. I would love to go back and try some new dishes that i didn't try this evening. We also ordered two portions of their carrot cake and it was one of the best carrot cakes I've ever had. And I've had a lot. Only downside was that it's a Cash Only restaurant. Which probably was a good thing coz we had to limit how much we ate to match our cash budget. Else we'd have to roll out of that place
