We had dinner in Las Salinas on Sunday and during the night me and my friends had a very bad food poisoning, which basically concluded our holiday in gran Canaria early since the planned Wednesday. I'm quite sure we weren't the only costumers affected by the poisoning on Sunday as we had all different plates except sharing a plate of Lapas! (the only girl which didn't take them felt OK on Monday). Now, I'll leave 4 stars because despite the nightmare in which a simple dinner turned our holiday into, the personnel working there was super friendly and the food quite tasty.. so I recognize this might have been a single accident that occurred and we were just so unlucky to fall for it. But please watch out when serving...

Surely the best lunch of a long lifetime. Came with my good friend and we sat close to the small promenade and ate fish. Tiny squid Croquettes with dark squid ink Saffron flavoured fish soup Huge piece of a fish called gallo with patatas arrugadas Excellent Tempranillio And my first taste of gofio in a mousse And I don't EVER eat lunch here in Gran Canaria

Watching the few people swimming in the sea side swimming pools I have goosebumps writing this: so vivid was the experience

A very pleasant surprise. A simple, down to earth place, with one of the best quality/price ratios we've found in Gran Canaria. The portions are very generous so for example you can get the paella for one and happily share it between two people. The staff is very easy going and helpful (they were the first to suggest to share the single portions). My girlfriend and I got a starter of tiny fried calamari, a single portion of paella, a bottle of wine for little above 32 euros.
