La Marina Pizzeria - Restaurante — Restaurant in Santa Cruz de la Palma

The food is lovely but the service is terrible. After we ate our main course we wanted to order dessert but no one came in to ask or check on us, I was constantly waving to get someone's attention but no one was looking and the only time a waiter came in was when Rome scored a goal in the football so he could cheer at the TV. Straight after dessert I asked for the bill because I didn't want to wait 25 minutes, I asked to pay half with my friend, the waiter didn't listen and put the whole bill on my card! I cannot see any excuse for such bad service in a fully staffed restaurant where there was only 2 occupied tables inside and 1 or 2 occupied outside. I would love to return for the food as it was lovely (I'm not a tourist, I live and work in the Canary Islands) but I don't think I can deal with the service as I felt they just...

We were waiting for about 10 min for someone to come and take our order, then after 30 more minutes another waiter came to take an order again, because they forgot about it. We had to wait for 30 min more and in the end they got part of the order wrong. Overall, the food they serve doesn’t worth waiting for more than an hour

Quattro fromagio was okay, tuna fillet was dry and overcooked, fried calamari was too salty, lasagna was cold and not really tasty.

So, overall I can say that food was so-so. Not a 5-star rating restaurant as it was shown in maps. So, I hope you won’t be confused by its good rating...
