A disappointing end of an amazing night.. I booked this restaurant for an amazing evening. Earlier in the day, me and my girlfriend had got engaged. We had been to La Tienda de Plácido y Grata multiple times in 2022 and always had an amazing time. So naturally thought this would be a great place to celebrate our engagement. Sadly, it didn’t live up to our expectations. We got seated quickly & that was great. The service was extremely slow & only 1 waiter serving all of the tables. We ordered Cava (no champagne) & a large water for the table. The water come quickly enough, the Cava sadly didn’t. We then ordered cocktails, which also didn’t come. The nanchos we ordered were burnt & we could tell these weren’t made fresh by the way the oil and cheese were on the plate. The fresh(ish) avocado & salsa didn’t make up or cover up the practically rotten tortilla chips. When I say the food was inedible, I mean it was inedible. I could see in the reflection of the glass the way the Chef was preparing the food & it looked so rushed and unprepared. Thankfully, we decided before our main course come to leave. We had simply had enough. 40ish minutes into being there, the Cava & the cocktails still hadn’t come. The ONLY thing that was good about the evening was that the waiter understood what we were saying and didn’t charge us for the water. We had planned to come to La Tienda de Plácido y Grata multiple times but we won’t be coming back. We are so unbelievably gutted as we had such an amazing experience before.

Perfect dinner experience 😀 From the design and vibe to the service and of course the food - everything was great. We started with cocktails that were very good. For starters we had: 1. Prawn and avocado tartar salad - excellent! Must try. 2. Placido y Grata Salad - also very good 3. Steamed gyozas - superb. 4. Roasted leek with cashew vinaigrette and citrus hollandais - delicious. Mains: 1. Cannelloni spinach, raisins and pine nuts - very good. 2. Chicken Tikka Masala with Rice Pilaf - was just "ok". Maybe it was too special and different for us 🙂 3. Glazed Pork Rib Tacos in barbecue sauce - the meet was delicious, the tacos not so much. As a feedback the the Chef - co sider changing the Tacos as they were tasteless and a really spoiled the entire dish. Dessert: Torrija - came with an ice cream scoop. Was very good! At the end of the meal we were offered shots, which were a great ending to an excellent dinner - one of the best we had in out 2 week road trip across Andalusia. We will definitely come again and definitely recommend to others. Thanks again! 🙏

I am pleasantly surprised by how good this place is in terms of food and also the value for money. Lunch menu is 15€ for 3 courses: starter, main, dessert or coffee, plus bread and one drink included. It’s an absolutely fantastic deal. The staff are really friendly and speak good English. The decor is absolutely beautiful as I assume it’s part of the hotel across the street. Don’t be afraid of how fancy it looks. I ended up coming 2 days in a row for the lunch menu and amazing food and friendly atmosphere.

Me and may family came to this restaurant and we wait for 40 mins without any water or even a menu. We had order a bottle of water and we wait for another 10 mins for just a bottle of water. However we had wait just a few minutes for five dishes, this has made we confused. That’s way too fast! We think the food taste just okay, nothing special. When we ask for the bill, we wait 10 mins AGAIN. That’s really disappointing. After we left this restaurant we saw there are only one person cooked all the food and 2 people serves all the table, but the most important thing is the took many plastic bag out with the Mutton leg inside. It's obviously premade food. That means the guy don’t need any skills to cook, he just need to heat the plastic in an instant! That cheating the...
