20/09/2022 We only stopped for "liquid refreshments". My wife is a lover of "decaffeinated" Expresso Martini's and this is the first bar we've encountered that offered that option. After her second one I knew that it was definitely decaffeinated as she would be having heart palpitations partway through the first. The staff are engaging and efficient and put up with my wife's pigeon Spanish even though their English was better than her Spanish. I reviewed the food menu as I sipped my Barcello rum and noticed some interesting potential "taste sensations", tuna in creamy sea-urchin sauce caught my eye; I'm definitely making dinner reservations later on in my stay. 22/09/2022 Didn't make a dinner reservation but returned two days later for lunch after an exhausting morning of sunbathing. The tapas are varied and interesting especially the fried shark in aioli. My wife decided to try a strawberry daiquiri, it was strong enough to enable her to speak fluent Spanish for the rest of the afternoon. 23/09/2022. Ok this is getting ridiculous. We met friends while out strolling, they were looking for somewhere to have lunch; we were outside Peskera so we nudged them in that direction and they invited us to join them. My wife and I shared the "catch of the day" which was expertly de-boned at the table by the waiter and plated alongside a selection of vegetables; it was delicious. Three meals and three excellent experiences.

As a summary this restaurant gave poor service and at best average food.Read on for a break down of why or stop here and avoid. First service, asked three times if the iced coffee was gluten free and free from cross contamination. The reason why I asked three times is that every waiter we asked went to check and never came back only for another waiter to come serve us. Then while I was half way through my food another waiter put a parasol up next to us for a family they were just sitting without asking and hitting my GF in the process. I specifically sat in this part of the restaurant for the sun and other tables had their parasols up. The food, the food is average at best but for the price you would expect either top standard or a lot of food. Neither was delivered. The ribs were bland and came with a dreg of BBQ sauce that wouldn't cover a single rib along with 4 wedges that had little to no seasoning. So again avoid at all cost. Either go somewhere cheaper but with better service or expensive with better food and service, not this sorry excuse for restaurant.

First time we want to have dinner there, we just star checking menu outside and I guess front house manager approached us and start pushing us food and how great they are, so we left because I didn’t even see menu and she already know what we want. Next day we went for lunch, was quiet, nobody was pushing on us anything. Staff was really friendly and helpful. When we ask if the sea food is fresh we been told is frozen, big disappointment when you eating in restaurant placed on the beach. About anything you we been told is fresh and homemade. I get beef wok and my fiancé chicken paella. Beef wok was prepared nice with all flavours of orient. Pales was good as well but wasn’t anything special, I didn’t get that flavour of Spain but anyway was prepared nice. I gave 3 stars just because of that manager pushing us to eat there, anyway they deserve 4.

A lovely spot and friendly staff but the waiter taking our order messed up big time!! We ordered a strawberry daiquiri mocktail for our 12 year old daughter. When it was brought to the table, the waiter joked "extra alcohol, you're not driving tomorrow". When our daughter had drunk about half of the 'mocktail' we saw two being served to children nearby. These looked nothing like our daughter's drink and had marshmallows/strawberry laces on top. We immediately called over a member of staff and questioned why hers was different. They confirmed our 12 year old had been served, and been drinking an alcoholic strawberry daiquiri!! My husband speaks Spanish and aired our concerns, staff tried to imply we knew it was alcoholic when it was served. They brought a bottle of water and the correct mocktail and kept asking "will she be okay?" When the food was served they had confused our pasta and sauce combinations. They apologised and offered us a free drink whilst it was rectified. We declined this as we didn't really feel like staying. When the correct food came it was disappointing. The sauce on husband's 'kentucky' was really watery and the prawn 'gamberi' pasta dish I ordered was bland and dry. We weren't charged for the strawberry daiquiri, replacement mocktail or the water but all in all it was a very...

This looked like a nice place to stop for a coffee and a snack. It was clean and well laid out and had some lovely chill-out music instead of the usual loud pop music blaring out like most of the nearby places. They had a comprehensive menu and some very attractive looking ice-cream sundaes, so we decided on one of these. Unfortunately, my choice of a sundae containing vanilla ice cream with cherries and cream and some broken up cookies arrived as a scoop of vanilla ice cream with a squirt of aerosol cream and one glace cherry stuck on top. This was not what was shown on the menu and not what I was paying 5.79€ for. When I asked the waiter where the cherries were, he said that this is what they had and he didn't like cherries anyway. He brought me a saucer with a few more glace cherries on but glace cherries are not the cherries that they were advertising and not what I wanted. The waiter's personal preference of type of cherries should not affect the quality of the items shown in the menu. We had originally planned on returning there for a meal later on in the evening but in the end, decided on going somewhere else where they cared a little more about offering what was on the menu. Pity, because it did look like a nice...
