Worst experience here and what a shame. This is a nice location with a good vibe and should pride itself on good attention to its clients. We arrived without having made a reservation - ok it's August so it makes sense to do so but when 5 other tables are free, unreserved and unoccupied, doesn't it make sense to welcome the opportunity to make some money when you have capacity? The first waitress obviously recognised the opportunity but main waiter guy took exception and remonstrated (not a good attitude!) when we said ok we can go somewhere else he relented and suddenly it was ok to stay and eat, I know it's hot, it's busy and maybe not the best day in the office but hey this is the business you are in deal with it. The service that followed was subsequently a mix of good and bad. Our order arrived missing a burger which when pointed out eventually arrived late and was undercooked. The calamari was conversely overcooked. Trying to get attention to order more drinks went largely ignored. However, the main female waitress was checking guests and was proactive in chasing the orders for us. Overall this was not the best experience we have had here this year having been several times. In general, the staff were rude, unattentive and had it not been for the head female waitress I feel we would have walked away, good bye €135. Listen guys - we customers are your lifeline and the reason you are able to exist. Good and polite consistent service are the core necessities of a great restaurant business and the food had to be equal. We are residents here and therefore your lifeblood when the tourists have gone. There are plenty of other places to dine at in Vera Playa who always deliver on great service and good food all year round. If you want to be the best and want your customers to keep coming back / give good reviews you have to...

For this being our first culinary experience in Vera, it set the bar for the rest of the time we’re here. The staff, food, and environment all complement one another.

The staff is friendly and personable. We had to make reservations (over WhatsApp) and I’m glad we did. The kitchen opens at 1900, we got here at 2000, and the placed was filled by 2100. Our waitress, Chamita, was exceptional. She not only took care of us but also helped us make some great choices concerning our dishes. Overall, the service was great.

The food was none too shabby either. We enjoyed the tuna (very tender and tasty), fried cuddle fish (resembled calamari but smaller), a hamburger (cooked perfectly), baked chicken (this was a little too dry for me), and pork cheek (savory and tender). For dessert we shared the brownie with ice cream (not bad but not great) and the cheesecake (it came with strawberries and resembled more of an American-style cheesecake and not the creamy cheesecake one usually finds in Spain). All in all, the food was delicious, some more than others, but overall not bad.

The restaurant is situated on the beach but not close to the water. It has a ton of seating, both in the open and under the bar canopy. I’m not sure if they usually have live music but they did on this night. I usually don’t care for live music due to how overpoweringly bad it is but I didn’t mind this one.

Overall, like I said, it set the bar. It’s a good place for just relaxing and...

This place is on the beach . They cook the fresh fish over a wood fire and do amazing food. Live music too as we have been here several times, lovely palm trees and plants and its shaded from the hot sun. They sever pints of beer too! Just what we needed after being at work at the grind stone. Its realy well worth the visit . Update: Today I re visited as i needed to relax in peace and the surrounding bars were too full on and loud. I've worked as a chef in Michelin star restaurants and the fresh tuna steak was perfect, the salad was cold crisp, well seasoned and with care to add herbs, the chips were hot and crisp, the wine was quality as was the service. And the view of the sea and abundance of shady plants was a very welcome and needed ambiance too. The staff clocked that I was in relax mode as I'm flat out as is my partner and treated us like royalty. Thank you. And all for the totally bargain price of 52 euros. Personally I thought it was goi g to be 70 or more . I dont often go as I'm so busy , but when I do . I do it because I know what to expect and it always exceeds that. I don't think many places could match it as small as it is. It's called paradise...

Atmosphere is amazing! Love, love, love it! Everything just looking at it is perfect. And on a slow day you might even get good service to grab a drink and just chill. However! We chased down ther servers many times and still took like 1,5h before some one took care of us. Then when we wanted food, yeah, same. Getting the food took almost another houer. And it didn't taste bad, atleast. Was far from good and wasn't even worm when we got it. Really small portions, so now we waiting for the bill and gona go home and eat something. Servers don't acknowledge you at all. All this harshness, I will come back, but won't eat. Just sitt and relax. If we ever can pay and get out of here
