My family had a very negative experience in this restaurant few weeks ago. The waiter/owner was not particularly friendly to begin but when we addressed an issue of almost raw chicken being served he did nothing to address the matter and ended up threatening us. We are some of the most pleasant customers there are. None of the items ordered looked great to begin with. I ate a good few pieces of the chicken and fed some to my son, before realizing it was not cooked. I thought it was tender due to the sauce it was cooked in, but when I realized it was raw I felt really disgusted. I politely sent it back and then was ignored. No apology. At that point I didn't want to eat any more. It was part of a set menu and when he asked for desert we said no as we were fed up of being ignored and wanted to leave. We expected not to see the full set lunch charge of 20 euros, yet he had the cheek to do that. Even a small gesture of good will would have gone a long way. When I said I expect a discount he threatened to call the police. Avoid. He couldn't care less about the customers and they have no idea how to cook. A really bad experience for an other wise nice trip to Xalo and our only negative experience in any restaurant in Spain where we live. We noticed a few other reviews mentioning raw food. You'd think they would have learned by now. Mistakes can be forgiven but nastiness is...
