Read moreWe visited this restaurant on 20th August around 6:30 PM for dinner, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing.
We ordered two items – cashew nuts and a cheese chicken kottu. The cashew nut dish was served first, but then the waiter informed us that the kottu would take another 10 minutes. We patiently waited until 7 PM and checked again, only to be told that it would be served "shortly." After waiting another half an hour, the waiter finally came back and said they could not serve the cheese kottu at all because the required ingredients were unavailable.
This kind of mismanagement is extremely frustrating. If an item is not available, the staff should inform customers at the time of ordering instead of making them wait unnecessarily. By this point, I had already lost my appetite. I spoke to the manager, and while he offered a 25% discount on the cashew nut dish as compensation, it did little to make up for the poor experience.
What made matters worse was the lack of cleanliness in the restaurant. We noticed several mice and cockroaches moving around near the tables, which was completely unacceptable for a place serving food. It made us feel very uneasy about the hygiene standards in the kitchen as well.
Overall, this was a very disappointing and unpleasant dining experience. Poor service, lack of proper communication, unavailable menu items, and extremely concerning hygiene issues make it hard to recommend this restaurant to anyone. I certainly will not be visiting again unless there is a major improvement in both service and...

This experience is not from one day of visit, I visited the place 5 times in 10days period.
When I entered the place one day at 10pm, a staff questioned me: “where are you going in at the closing time?” - in sinhala
Another day when I ordered Coke 1.5Ltr bottle, and when i wanted another my waiter said that they are out of 1.5 Ltr coke and he can only get me 300ml coke in glass bottles. When I asked another waiter, he simply got me the 1.5Ltr coke which was out of stock 5 minutes ago.
Two days back I ordered two dishes, the waiter came back and told me that the ones i ordered might take about 20-30 minutes, and encouraged me to order something additional which they could put in the table in few minutes. Finally all three dishes I ordered came to the table together after 20minutes.
BYOB Place closing at 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays as well. And when a place states that they will close at 11 or at a specific time: It should be that they wont invite customers in after 11pm, and does not mean that they should send away the customer who are already in, with still food lying on the plates, and drink in...
