Called ahead just in case using contact info on Google and went ahead for dinner... Even though there was a power cut, they were still accommodating... Having high standards for taste (coming from Southern SL) this was easily the very best dinner I've ever had... The rice and curry was absolutely scrumptious and the highlight was resavoir freshwater fish curry. Even though I could not see much due to the power cut that didn't affect the taste and the food was absolutely delicious... easily can consider a second helping even though even if I usually don't. 100% going again if I revisit dambulla. This is a cute little home kitchen operated by a sweet lady from her house. She has a huge seating area in the front and a kitchen and her room at the back..The food was hot, fresh and full of flavours. The best rice and curry we had tasted in Dambulla.. On our trip to Sri lanka we had lunch here and the food we ate here was local sri lankan cuisine which was delicious. We being pure vegetarians found this place through google reviews and must say our choice was not wrong. The place is run by a lady who saw that the food served was kept separately from the non veg.. she took extra care while doing so..
