We had made a reservation at this restaurant two weeks prior to our trip to Taipei, and it turned out to be the most anticipated and exciting meal of our journey. Arriving five minutes early, we were warmly greeted by the friendly staff who promptly escorted us to the lounge area to prepare for our dining experience. The level of service and the staff's attitude were truly exceptional, reminiscent of the hospitality found in a five-star hotel.
One aspect that stood out was the attentiveness of the staff. Our water glasses were never empty, which, for me, is a standard I use to assess the overall quality of hospitality. The staff's dedication to ensuring our comfort was truly commendable.
As a party of two, we decided to upgrade our order slightly to sample a variety of dishes. I must give a special shout-out to the urchin sauce lobster and the A6 Japanese wagyu, which were the highlights of the meal. The flavors were exquisite, and the quality of the ingredients was evident in every bite.
To our delight, we were also surprised with a complimentary chocolate lava cake bearing a birthday message. It was a delightful bonus that added an extra touch of celebration to our experience.

The food is phenomenal, French dishes, prepared in a Japanese fashion, with just a hint of local flavour thrown in for good measure. We had the set menu for two, and opted to upgrade one course so that we could both have the foie gras, the upgrade was only NTD100, and well worth it if you love it as much as us.
Our chef, Sunny, gave great introductions to the dishes and ingredients when asked to, but for the most part let the food speak for itself, allowing us to relax and enjoy our time. He also gave helpful guidance on wines.
