Our friends/family ordered all of the dishes for us and it was fresh and tasty! The scallops sashimi was soft and melts in your mouth. slightly sweet and taste so fresh. We had this fish soup with mei fan it was very flavorful. The steam eggs with anchovies are one of the best I have ever had, silky smooth and hint of Benito flavor. The salmon sushi was awesome too! All in all, if anyone is ever in Jiao Xi area, pay them a visit and make sure to have early reservations like us, at 11:30am lunch, by the time we got out at 1:30pm the place was packed and plenty of people...
Read more4 stars because we had decent seating. Food wise was below average. The so called scallop taro cake was overly peppered with no scallops to be found. Prawns.... we have tasted much better ones elsewhere. Eel was over grilled and dry almost irritating to the throat. Steamed fresh oyster looks good. I didn't try it cause I basically gave up. Squid spring rolls had too much msg.....kept drinking water while eating. The chilli sauce for dipping can be improved other than just off the bottle. Gave up taking pics after first few dishes as I have lost interest. Service was average. Kind of regretted having spent one precious dinner there other than it is so close...
