This apparently is famous for Taiwanese people as there were loads of people here, it's a cafe serving random teas and drinks, but I think what draws people here is the quirky hobbit looking building! It is cool. I travelled from hualien on the train then walked to the cafe in the middle of nowhere! I liked the place and didn't mind the long journey there, I'd say go if you love fantasy places and/or have a scooter. Lovely buildings and cute decor bring illustrations from the Scolastic children's books series "The Magic Tree House" to life. Featuring framed display of the actual art used to create the novels' cover pages and archetecture inspired by the cartoon-like drawings, this little roadside coffee shot is a worthy visit. Lovely and specially furnished cafe, offering drinks and desserts at reasonable prices , but served with disposable cups and plates! Not a place for long stay, because there are many tourists coming in and out! Cannot imagine how crowded it can be on weekends, considering the limited spaces!
