Wanted to try another Vietnamese restaurant around the area. Its lunch hour window is kind of short from 1130am to 2pm. We got there early and was probably the 2nd group to get there once it opens. All the tables quickly filled up by the lunch crowd as we were eating.
The shrimp pancake was the big surprise STAR, thinly fried shrimp paste with shrimp chunks with a light outer layer. The pho was tasty, and was as authentic as it gets as I didn’t need to add any lime nor anything else to it. I managed to finished all the soup to the last drop, and no after effects to indicate if there was not too much salt nor msg. Throat feels great. That’s an extra star.

Read more本身是越南PHO的重度愛好者所以看到有賣河粉的店尤其是生牛肉河粉就會忍不住想嘗試。本來是計畫在附近一家不錯的牛肉麵吃晚餐的,但是因為已經賣完所以在附近走走順便搜尋評價高的店家,於是就看到這家最低評價竟然也有五顆星,雖然評價筆數有點少加上路過時似乎沒什麼客人,不過基於無法對河粉抵抗的味蕾,還是決定走進去嘗試一下。
因為進去時已經是將近晚上7:25,營業時間只到8點所以先問店家是否還有供餐?店家說有就進去入座點餐。看了下菜單,以台北市的價位來看還可以接受,於是不加思索點了生牛肉河粉同時也點了一份炸春捲。
店內其實只有我一位內用客人,外帶看起來也不是很多,不知道為什麼等候許久將近快20分鐘還是未上菜,估計是漏單還是跟外帶客人聊的太忘我,不過我不趕時間也沒有特別在意加上店家上菜時也說了不好意思。
首先上的是生牛肉河粉,有點納悶,因為評價很多都說份量十足,但是我看碗只裝到一半,建議店家不要用小一點的碗裝不然至少湯放多一點。再來生牛肉上的確實全熟的牛肉,不是應該上至少半生讓顧客用熱湯的熱度把牛肉燙熟嗎?...
