Hug Kan is a charming Northern Thai restaurant that truly lives up to its name—“hug kan” meaning “love each other.” The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a simple, local vibe that makes you feel like you’re enjoying a home-cooked meal in Northern Thailand.
The menu highlights classic Northern dishes done right. Favorites include rich and aromatic khao soi, well-balanced nam prik noom, flavorful sai ua (Northern Thai sausage), and comforting gaeng hung lay with tender pork and deep spices. The flavors are authentic, not overly sweet or salty, and clearly made with care and quality ingredients.
It's a Northern Thai restaurant but influenced with central cuisine flavour. The taste and aroma are authentic and well round.
The price per dish is around 100-200. An appropriate number of dishes are 6 for 2 people.
All of dishes are. I highly recommend Northern curry ,"Hanglei curry". It's not spicy, but condense wirh sour and sweet flavor. It's estremlt good with rice, especially not the sticky one.
