Boat Bar & Restaurant — Restaurant in Kamala

Unfortunately, my husband and I had a bad service experience this evening. We ordered one sharing starter and 2 main courses with drinks.

The Thai waiter lady took our orders, brought us our starter and drinks, and dissappeard for the rest of the evening.

• the restaurant was half full.
• no waiter checked on us after being served the starter

After waiting more than 45 minutes, we still didn't receive our main courses. No other waiter was not even looking at us after waiving to them. My husband went to the cashier to ask for the bill and leave.

The given bill was including already the meals we haven't been served. He explained that nobody came with our main courses and we want to pay the starter and drinks and leave.

The waiter gave him immediately the bill, without even a sorry, nor even trying to fix the service. Nothing. We left.

The only reason why they have 2 star is because there food is good. I can't say the opposite . But there service is very slow we waited over 1 h for cold appetizers . Main course also came at the same time as appetizers ... a whole big mess and confusion .... the best part was when after 45 minutes we asked for a piece of bread for my 1 and a half year old kid we received a toasted piece of soft bread ( the one you use for toast ) and got charged 30 tbh 😂. Cherry on the cake after our food arrived all tightest and late we could not ordered the desserts as the kitchen was closed ! We sit down at...

"I had an awful experience at this place. I came to celebrate New Year, booked a table for our group, and informed the manager that I wasn't sure about the exact number of people. The manager suggested adding a maximum, assuring that if we were fewer, it wouldn't be an issue. However, when heavy rain started, the staff didn't offer to move our table.
