Stepping into the cafe on a weekday when it was less crowded, was immediately struck by its distinctive yellowish decor. This vibrant color scheme is synonymous with the holiday pastry, somehow printed into the memory.
Insarin had the cheesecake and featured on TV show, was eager to try it if it lived up to the hype. It’s a cheesecake that’s similar to the Spanish cheese tart that’s already popular in other countries.
The cheesecake was a delightful surprise. It had a creamy cheese filling and a well-made crust. The addition of ice cream on the side was a perfect touch, creating a sweet and salty contrast that complemented each other. The cookie crumbs added texture to the ice cream.
The coffee, which was supposed to be served later, was accommodated without any issues. The service was excellent overall.
The coffee was also well-crafted and robust enough to complement the dessert. It was a perfect choice to enjoy after the sweet treat.
Based on this experience, highly recommend this cafe for a good cheesecake. It’s a great place to stop by and indulge in a delicious treat. The calories spent are well worth it
In addition to their cheesecake, the cafe also sells other baked goods and other items. Maybe next should try YOLK if it lives up to the hype
The price is not the cheapest for a cafe, but it’s still a great...
Read moreHeard about their OMG pie (crembrulee pie with caramel crisp) for a while, so I've decided to finally give it a shot when they open a more accessible brunch at CTW.
It was a disappointment. The base of the tart is so very thick and hard, in a chilled cracker style tart instead of a properly baked tart. It's usually not an issue if they served the pie in a slice but this thing came whole and my jaw feel tired after having to go through the whole thing.
It's also very sweet, there aren't enough of vanilla custard to balance out the taste because, again, the tart is just too thick (and where they keep their sugar or whatever sweetener.) The caramel crisp tasted nothing, the caramel filling doesn't came through. And the the entire thing is very expensive (400 THB something if I recalled, the bill came almost 700 THB with just a cup of coffee, it doesn't feel like a 700 THB let me tell you.)
It is a fail. At least for this menu item in particular. I don't know if I can recommend it even if it came cheaper. I do plan to give them one more chance with other menu, but I left the restaurant sad and disappointed that day which isn't the feeling I am expected after having heard so many good...
Read moreDecided to rate this place 1 star due to the following reasons; overall food is AVERAGE to lower than the standard (for store in high-end mall like CTW) there is no outstanding food at all and the taste kind of off? for example, the Mango salsa salad in the picture below, I expected that the salsa should be more rich in flavor though it is plain, vegetables are not fresh and small-size shrimp compared to the price. Roasted crispy pork risotto - the apple sauce ruined it and risotto is too watery, on top of that the crispy pork is ugh, not crispy at all. The honey lavender fizz (which is recommend menu) is quite okay but lack of fizzy taste Long waiting time for food but you can take that time for taking a picture in the store since the decoration is quite nice. For dessert, No.1 Signature Pancake, the pancake is soft and good, the blueberry topping sauce is not compatible since I have a feeling that, there are not fresh blueberry, kind of blueberry can in department store. Service charge 10% and Vat 7% to...
