We stumbled across this hidden gem from searching on Google Maps, and it took us a bit of asking around to find the exact location, but this is definitely a restaurant that you should try if you're visiting the Grand Palace and Wat Pho.
Located inside the Navy Club, you'll need to walk into the Navy Club carpark and towards the river to find the blue signboard saying restaurant. Thanks to its slightly hidden location, you don't get hordes of tourists from the palace cramping up the place, but it still does get substantial traffic from the locals and tourists with tour guides.
The restaurant serves mainly seafood dishes and Thai food. The fish is popular but you'll need to wait 30 minutes for it. We ordered the curry crab with eggs, squid and vege. All of them were absolutely delicious and fresh. The mango smoothie is also a must try, but be sure to ask for no sugar to go with the smoothie.

We are sure of it because it's the only new place we've been to in the past few days. Some of us ended up with stained sheets due to vomiting.
Although there's English on the menu, the receipt is all in Thai. They brought out the wrong dish and insisted we pay for it. Unfortunately we couldn't speak Thai so it's hard for us to stand up...
