Disappointing Dining Experience at Chilai

I recently visited Chilai with high hopes of enjoying a delicious meal by water view. However, my experience was severely marred by the restaurant's worst service, and poor quality of food.

Upon arriving, the hostess seemed disinterested and barely acknowledged our presence, despite there being only a few other diners. We were left standing awkwardly at the entrance for several minutes before being seated. Once seated, the waitstaff seemed overwhelmed and inattentive. Our drink orders were taken promptly, but it took ages for them to arrive at our table. And servers didn't even serves our drink.

The problems didn't end there. We had to ask multiple times for simple things like napkins and utensils, and it felt like we were an inconvenience to the servers rather than valued customers. The wait between courses was excessively long, and it seemed like the staff had forgotten about our table altogether.

Moreover, the waitstaff lacked knowledge about the menu items and couldn't provide basic recommendations or answer questions about ingredients, which was disappointing considering the price of service at this place.

The worst part of the evening came when we tried to address our concerns with the manager. Instead of being understanding, the manager was defensive and dismissive of our complaints, which only added to our frustration. We spent about 7000 LT including tips and service, but had the worst night ever. At the end, we waited for 2 hours at the front to get a taxi, we asked for help for multiple times and staffs can’t care less.

In conclusion, I regret to say that I cannot recommend Chilai based on my recent dining experience. The combination of inattentive and unprofessional service. I suggest exploring other dining options in the area for a more enjoyable experience.
