WHITE Beach Dubai — Restaurant in Dubai

Staff acting superior Rude attitude of the lady from the entrance, transmitting that you are not welcome unless you are really rich. How a person treats you can change your day. The only thing you prove when you act superior to others, especially to your clients is that you are not too intelligent.

She was so proud telling us that she can not let us in, our reservation has been cancelled because we were late and they are "fully booked". Their policy is that if more than 15 mins late, your reservation is cancelled, unless you call them to announce. And I actually called them. Not once, but 3 times. And nobody answered. They are so high-end that they do not even answer the phone. When I told her this, she finally let us in, although previously they were "fully booked". And although her face was transmitting that we are definitely not welcome here.

The uncleaned beach It's beyond ridiculous. Acting like you are the top of the world and having all the money you want, yet being so blind not to realize that you need to clean the beach. 😃 Blinded by their desire to appear exclusive, they miss the essentials.

Algae is a natural thing, and it is everywhere in the world, but you can clean it. A long time in my life I have been to 4 stars hotels in Bulgaria. Probably 100 times cheaper than these "world-class" and "exclusive" places. Those guys in Bulgaria cleaned the algae from the beach EVERY morning. These blind high-end people from Atlantis could not notice it though. Because they probably don't use the beach, they only drink champagne on a sunbed.

I told about the algae to a very nice lifeguard, he talked to manager and indeed they cleaned some of the algae shortly after. So it was so simple.

I am not talking only about the algae, there were also 2 or 3 bottle caps I noticed on the beach. There are many thing that can be done to improve the quality of that beach. If you want to be high-end, act like it, do some work.

They can not afford a shower near the pool, but they afford many other useless things. All the sunbeds are on sand. So everyone enters the pool with their feet full of sand. Of course there will be much sand in the pool. Again, world-class champagnes, but still so blind by luxury to notice commong things.

Finally, the employees serving and the lifeguards seemed really nice. Except from one guy, who seemed very bored and not too communicative, throwing the dishes when cleaning. But again this is a managerial thing. A good manager should notice if the employees are not happy at work, because this will reflect in customer satisfaction. Or at least that's what you sould do at a "world-class" place 😅

Atmosphere: Stunning interior and a very nice view of the city and over the beach. When the sun goes down and the lights go in it looks even more beautiful. Classic combination of brown, beige and white colours. Very comfortable seating and all workers wear white and beige colours to. Very relaxing and nice place.

Service: We were serviced by a very friendly and nice guy from South Africa. Superb service and nothing to complain. Very passionate about his work and a generally very happy person.

Food: We had the crispy calamari, Wagyu beef carpaccio and bread with olive paste. Main dishes were the lamb and the octopus. Desert cheesecake and chocolate mousse. The crispy calamari and Wagyu beef I find was ok. I had much better normal carpaccio at every Italian restaurant, but it wasn’t bad. The calamari the same, I find it is very hard to find good calamari and the best I had so far was in Greece and at a place in Frankfurt called “Meeresrauschen”. This one was a bit blend but not bad as well. The main courses were a desaster. I have never send back my food in my life literally never but this time we couldn’t eat both dishes. The problem with lamb is always that it you cook it and grill it with fat it will start smelling and that fat smell will take over the entire meat. Normally good restaurants will use white vinegar before cooking the lamb or apple cider, some keep it in garlic or you can work with herbs such as rosemary and thyme to get rid of that smell and taste in the meat. So we didn’t touch the mains and send them back. The octopus was supposed to be chargrilled and you would expect that chargrilled taste. I would assume that the octopus was not grilled enough as it didn’t have that taste and was tasting very fishy. I would suggest the cook to try the octopus at Ayamna to get a direct comparison. The deserts were amazing though the cheesecake is just special. You will be very surprised how it is presented and will wonder where the cheesecake is, but it is there. Very light and nice taste. Same for the chocolate mousse.

Conclusion: I would go again to give it another chance, but I am afraid that it won’t be so much better than what I have experienced so far. If you don’t like to take risks in your holiday than you are probably better off not coming here. It’s a shame to say that as the workers are super nice, the music is amazing, the restaurant looks beautiful and the view...

Just yesterday we were at Bla Bla beach club and the winner is clear: Bla Bla beach only 50% of the money you pay is redeemable in food and drinks in ehite beach club. In bla bla for example is 100%. the view in White Beach club is to 2 bridges, one of them seems an industrial zone the poor safeguard guy at the pool is standing at the pool with a horrible hoy and cant sit up as he does not hace a chair with shade. In my opinion is inhuman the time to stay is from 10 am to 5 pm. But the reality is that at 16:30 the security guy was taking out all the people from the pool Then they oblige you to order all the dishes between 12 pm and 4 pm if you want to walk in the beach of the club, suddenly a security guard tells you that you cant continue because the beach on the left is a hotel's private beach. So you can walk only 30 meters!! the beach smells not good the noise of helicopters is continuous due to the fact that they land just on the right of the club -At 16:47 a security guard cones to tell you that in 10 minutes you have to leave. the price is double of the price of for example Bla Bla club. I pay here 500AED. For me is stupidly espensive. But this has to be decided by you.
