YO! Sushi | Dubai Mall — Restaurant in Dubai

Stopped in for dinner and had a great meal. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations. The atmosphere is cozy and pleasant. They have changed some dishes and added some menus, but the mochi ice cream. One of my favorite desserts is kinda different from before. However, it is still value for money, but for some customers, are different. Of course, we have different pallets. As I experienced when we had dinner last night, there were a guests complaining to the staff about the quality food and service. That caught my attention. That lesbian customer is making a scene where it is un appropriate knowing they almost ate everything and then start yelling to the staff with the food complaints , where i am sitting next to their table I can hear clearly her sentiment. I can feel that she just want to have some complimentary, but hands up to the personnel whos taking care of her complaints she handled it very well & calmly and showing proper guest assistance, just really this kind of customer can ruin someones business.. Usually have a good experience coming here, my expectations are in line with the level of restaurant however was left a little disappointed today, first time coming this year and there have been menu changes, missing some old favourites but change is good. Ordered directly from the waiter as not much was coming on the conveyor besides the same few things. Only got about 3/4 of my order, same with my friend, the waiter clearly clocked off without mentioning his shift was over, and no one from the restaurant seemed to take over the service. Was sat on the outside and everyone out there was just left stranded trying to catch the eye of any one else for service. Gave up waiting for remaining items to get delivered maybe this was their way of saving money on food? Skipped to desert, ordered the new ice cream Sunday thing and was just very disappointed with it, attached picture for reference. But if you don’t have all the ingredients just please be honest and say we don’t have that but we can do this instead of bringing me a bowl of sadness. A lovely place compared to other branches. Manager also takes personal care. It's almost at the left sided end of the basement row of food passage in Dubai mall near the indoor waterfalls. The usual conveyor belt brings the series of food items in different colours and you are charged as per how many bowls of which colour you have consumed. Around 4-5 coloured bowls are there. As they are small bowls, you tend to order a lot and may end up paying a lot if your are not careful. My suggestion is to order as per the colour of the bowls as well as the items. The hot items are prepared separately and brought to your table by wait staffs. I ordered mainly street foods of Japan and I was happy with the quality of Food. My orders were - Seafood fried rice. 29 dhs. Good for one person. Tasty. Prawn tempura. 31.50. Lovely. Chicken karaage. 27 dhs. Tasty. Salmon teriyaki. 25 dhs. Tasty. Lightly fried.
