Was thinking about walking threw the drive threw and saying I got a invisible car knowing I would get served quicker than going inside lol because for first time I had to ask a friendly staff all to happy to help on how to use the touch screen to preorder my snack as there was no one at the actuall tills and I haven't step foot in place since they did have people at the till, got me to a table number seating area like it were a restaurant which is worth the wait because your getting proper cooked meals and i waited for what seem to be a long time ⏲️ for simple fast food to be put at me table yet loads of staff in the kitchen area serving the drive threw lot and also the now known uber eats delivery's lots before I got mine, a place I used to know were packed with people and you couldn't get a seat yet food was already in your hand good to go it seem to lost the active going out for a snack bite where friends and family would all be there having a good catch up natter over a value easy tasty snack , I nearly fell asleep at the table threw what seem to be boredom for waiting on a regular meal set good job there weren't more of us it might of took the whole day to get served apart from the nice cleaner that showed me how to use the touch order screen mopping around and the uber delivery blokes waiting on dropping off I think there was only me plus 3 others inside and one outside eating area lol madness yet I couldn't complain about my food as they were what I expected , I wouldn't really say I be making another quick visit there again unless I got...
Read moreA fairly good example of a McDonald's franchise. Clean on all the occasions I have visited, and with friendly staff offering good service.
On a couple of occasions, when using the drive-thru, they have got the order wrong. This happens everywhere to some degree or another, and is far less common here than the Ripley franchise.
Recently there was an issue over mixed milkshakes, which is something this branch has offered since they opened. The drive-thru operator informed me they had a new "Business manager" who had decided they would no longer offer the option for mixed shakes. Now franchises are free to pick and choose what they want to do, but suddenly deciding not to do something (which has always been available at company owned branches, and so is not an odd service to offer), is a little disappointing.
Now credit to the staff member, they went away and checked with somebody. When I got to the pay booth I was told that they could do the mixed shake. But not whether this was because the staff member had made a mistake about a new policy or not. So now I'm not sure what the situation is. But confusion over branch policy like this is where they lost a star.

Read moreAbsolutely disgusted at this McDonald's. Went through the drive through, it was really busy but it was just after 6 so expected. Tried to place my order and it was like playing bingo, almost everything I tried to order, they didn't have.. no milkshakes, no mcflurrys, no big Mac's and only serving the BBQ flavoured wrap as none of the others were available. There was no signage to explain that these things were unavailable so almost everyone was having the same issues. It was a joke! Paid for my order, got to the collection window (this had taken about 20 minutes so far), had to wait a little while before they came and gave us the order, when they did, it was the completely wrong order and somehow mine hasn't been done so I had to wait in a bay. I'd say we were waiting around 10-15 minutes, you could see people waiting around in the restaurant too (not just the delivery people). My order finally came and I wish I could say that my disappointment ended there.. I got home and handed out food and drinks, everything seemed ok until my son had a sip of his tango. He thought that they had served Lilt by mistake so swapped with my daughter but on tasting it she realised it wasn't Lilt. I tried it and I can only think that either someone mixed two drinks or that the carbonation mix was way out because it was vile.
