Dear Mouchak Street Ltd,
I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the recent experience I had at your establishment. I purchased a calzone from your restaurant on Tue 13 Jun , but I was not provided with a receipt for the transaction. This lack of transparency immediately raised suspicions regarding your accounting practices and the legitimacy of your profits. I discovered a hair in the food I had ordered. This occurrence not only spoiled my dining experience but also raised serious concerns about the hygiene and quality standards maintained in your kitchen.
Finding a foreign object, such as a hair, in food is both unappetizing and unacceptable. As a customer, I place my trust in your establishment to provide me with a safe and enjoyable dining experience. The presence of a hair in my food not only indicates a lack of attention to detail but also raises questions about the overall cleanliness and hygiene practices in your kitchen.
Upon making this unfortunate discovery, I immediately brought it to the attention of your staff. However, I was disappointed with the response I received. The issue was not handled in a professional manner, and the lack of concern displayed by your employees further exacerbated my disappointment. It is disheartening to see such a disregard for customer satisfaction and the importance of food safety.
Moreover, when I approached your customer service department to rectify this issue, I was met with poor service and a dismissive attitude. Despite explaining that the missing receipt was your fault, no corrective actions were taken. This lack of accountability is unacceptable, and it only serves to tarnish your reputation as a business.
The combination of the missing receipt and the apparent disregard for customer concerns raises serious doubts about the integrity of Mouchak Street Ltd. It is disheartening to see such a lack of professionalism and customer-centric approach. I expected better from a business in the food industry, where quality service and transparency should be of utmost importance.
Based on this regrettable experience, I strongly advise others to avoid patronizing your establishment. The issues I encountered, including the absence of a receipt, suspicious profits, and poor customer service, reflect poorly on your business practices. As a consumer, I believe it is my responsibility to warn others about such unfortunate experiences.
I hope that you take this complaint seriously and take immediate steps to rectify the issues mentioned. A more transparent approach to accounting, improved customer service, and a genuine commitment to resolving customer concerns would be a step in the...
Read moreI visited the place with a couple of friends and unfortunately experienced the worst service ever Upon arrival, we were seated fairly quickly but then completely forgotten about. We waited over half an hour before we had to flag someone down just to place our order, no one checked on us and no apology was given for the long wait. The attitude from the staff felt negligent and indifferent.
We asked about the “Tawa for Two” priced at £33.95 on the menu and were told it would include extras like lamb chops, wings and sides and agreed £35 for any extras. When the food arrived, it was actually quite good — no complaints there. However absolutely disgraced when the bill arrived. They added extra charges that were never mentioned or agreed upon. We weren’t looking for a discount, we ate the food but transparency and clear communication one expects when ordering.
When one of my friends calmly tried to explain this, the response was dismissive and shockingly rude: “What can I do? I made the mistake and you ate the food. Now pay for it.” That kind of attitude is completely unacceptable, especially when the staff admitted they made the error.
On top of that, they don’t accept card payments, only cash or bank transfer. In 2025, that’s just baffling. I’ve been here before and didn’t have this kind of experience but this visit was enough to make this not only our last ever visit but also ensure friends and family don’t experience anything like this
Sort out the service, train your staff in basic customer care and be honest about pricing. People deserve...
Read moreWe came to Mouchak for a family meal on my daughters birthday. And left absolutely annoyed & disappointed. We waited quite awhile for our food, considering it wasn’t busy. Only to wait another 20 minutes for my daughters pizza to arrive, as for some reason the guy taking our order thought it was for us to takeout, so hadn’t even made it when our food came out. She was hungry and while we had been served our food she was the only one still waiting for hers. We decided to wait for her food and eat at at the same time as her which left our food cold. When we had told the guy who had served us he told us he will make her pizza and bring out chips while she was waiting, as he could see she was upset. Only for him to him to go in the back an disappear. Returning, after another 15/20 mins later with her pizza!
Before we left we were asked about our experience. We told the guy at the front about what had happened, his answer was next time we will look after you. Next time?! No, there won’t be a next time. we definitely won’t be coming back. We highly recommended this place the first time we came but i wouldn’t anymore. The service was Absolutely appalling! You made a mistake you couldn’t even rectify it. While We were there you couldn’t look after us. You couldn’t bring out some chips as you would have had to give them for free, but made my little girl wait extra so you can bring the pizza we had ordered and paid for. I Would never come back again. You Really need to work on your...
