The food delivered to our home has totally exceeded all expectations , a generous sized prawn cocktail followed by the most delicious home made beef Wellington , minted new potatoes a selection of freshly prepared vegetables which included asparagus with hollandaise and lashings of the tastiest Madeira gravy ..dessert a white chocolate cheesecake lots of juicy strawberries and a fudge sauce .We really cannot describe how gorgeous the meal was , just perfect ! the meal was delivered ready to just heat up and serve , so simple .. can’t wait to try the rest of the tasty menu . I was introduced to La Rue just under a year ago and immediately fell in love with the food and service. Sadly on our last visit something has changed as the food was, i'm sorry to say rubbish and not what we've come to expect. Thankfully the service itself just about made up for it as the waitresses could see from our remaining food that something wasn't right. We made enquires so see if it was down to a new chef but to no avail. In the end the food was very bland, tasteless and definitely overcooked. We will be back to La Rue in the future but for the moment we'll be giving a miss...

Very poor small meals to fancy with no substance.very cramped inside toilets leaking water on floor .I think that this restaurant needs to make change especially with the food no veg not impressed will not go again my . My partner raved about this place .My friends from London were not impressed.
