The food and decor was amazing, however I have had to knock off 2 stars due to the poor attitude of one of the waitresses serving us. She had short, dyed ginger/orange hair, I did not catch her name. There was a very slight confusion with our order - an extra basmati rice came but we didn't mean to order it - and my friend was politely pointing out that the staff may have gotten confused and we got the reply 'yeah probably, we have been really busy today and we are very tired' with no apology, said in a sarcastic/harsh tone. Then we overheard her telling another customer who walked in how tired she is and then turned her away (to be fair, the kitchen had closed) but I also found this unprofessional.

I am quite shocked at the response of this waitress. My friends and I are doctors in the NHS and no matter how tired or busy a shift is, we would never respond to a patient pointing out something politely in this manner. We would be complained about, and rightly so! We also know how tiring working long shifts are, but again we do not express this to our patients, that's unprofessional. We have specifically been trained in communication skills and it is not appropriate to tell a patient that we are tired and turn it around on them for 'complaining' or pointing out a simple, rectifiable mistake.

I am quite shocked at the waitresses' attitude. I understand she must have had a bad, tiring day but as customers it's not appropriate to complain to us about it. I believe this waitress could do with some retraining on how to approach customers, and perhaps she should take some annual leave if she has any left? I would understand being spoken to like that if we were rude, but my friend was being really polite and soft-spoken. We actually let the mistake go and just paid for the extra rice in the end because we didn't want to interact with this tired waitress anymore.

I hope the above measures can be taken, specifically with regards to retraining/refreshing communication skills. Otherwise the food was amazing and of the best quality and I would come here again if it wasn't for this attitude problem we had.
