Monmo’s Peri Peri Grill Cannock — Restaurant in Cannock Chase

I order from Monmo’s for my family quite frequently and must say their food is normally amazing. However, the last 2 times I ordered I have been really disappointed. On the one occasion my food never turned up and after ringing the restaurant was told that the order hadn’t processed through UberEats (but the payment had been taken), so they sent my order straight away and put in some extra food, completely fair enough. I ordered tonight, only a chicken wrap, fries and a drink...it took almost 2 hours for my food to arrive, I tried to ring the restaurant 8 times before anyone answered to confirm my order had been processed. When my food did arrive the chicken wrap was burnt and dry and my chips were so soggy that they had stuck to the paper bag they were wrapped in and were cold. My can of Pepsi had been put in the bag with the food and so, ironically, was hotter than my actual meal. Me and my boyfriend scheduled an order at around 6pm to be delivered between 8pm and 8:30pm as we live a bit further out so we thought it’ll be easier to order in advance. At around 7:30 I got the confirmation that it will be here for 8:45 latest 9:05. When that time rolled around no food to be seen and no update on Uber eats.

My boyfriend then called them to ask for an update at 9:30 and a young girl answered was rude and then ended the phone. I rang back and asked for an update and she again was rude, not listening to anything i was saying and laughing down the phone. She quickly said it’s on its way and the phone was ended.

The food is alright but the customer service is awful. My food is still not here at nearly 10pm, we will not be retuning here which is a shame because we used to order...

The guys down at monmos are trying their very best to keep what looks like a family business going to its highest quality!

The guys down there making your food dont do the delivering so go easy on them with the phone calls if you have problems! But im very sure they'd be happy to help anyone out with any problems!

Its no bother to them for any special requests with your food, they're more than happy to meet your standards! Always a smile when making my spicey rice 😁🤣

Honestly back to the half a chicken and chips (or spicey rice🫡) under £10 for all that food come on! The chicken actually falls away with such flavour from there home made recipes! Im actually happy to wash up for once!
