Very very disappointing visit. We always have the carvery on every visit. This time there was no parsnips, turnip/swede, mash, only had 9 roasties left and was told would be a 10 minute wait for the next lot. So me and my two friends had 3 roasties each as we didn’t want to wait 10 minutes. Tiny bit of gravy left that you had to scrape out the bottom and again no other fresh gravy out and ready. Myself and 2 other members of the public stood and waited almost 10 minutes for the girl to bring out the mint sauce. The sprouts and carrots were like rock hard bullets. We did raise all these issues with the young man serving the meats and he just said we’re having a delivery issue. We came in this morning and half of our stock had not been delivered. Me and my two friends left our food as it had no taste, very bland indeed. And again we raised this issue with staff when the young girl came and asked us if everything was ok. We always get asked after about 5 mins by staff if all is good, but on this day we had been sat for almost 15 mins before she came over to ask and when I told her about all the issues all she said was sorry about that, I will clear your plates for you. It’s such a shame as we come at least once a week and we loved Anson Farm, but we have all decided we need to start looking for a new place to go and eat. I’m struggling to understand what has happened to Anson Farm as the food here (carvery) was absolutely beautiful. But since it reopened after the pandemic it’s sad to say but it’s been really not nice at all and it’s really sad to see this place going down hill, further & further.
