Duke Street Sandwich Deli — Restaurant in England

My office is right in the centre of Truro, so we've sampled most of the local eateries and delis for lunches, snacks, coffees and whatnot. This is one of my favourites! Fresh, quality sandwiches - their crayfish / salad with a hint of ginger is delicious ... and some lovely home made soups.

Nice little spot although on a corner between two road. When the sun is out it was nice sitting outside, it was very pleasant. Food was nice as well. However not very good on the allergies front! "I suppose you have oat milk in your drinks as well" was a reply when we indicated my wife had a life threatening allergy which was clearly on the list of 14. There are far too many not taking it seriously enough and training and knowledge is appalling. They just want...

Today I had a very poor sandwich purporting to be home made coronation chicken and leaves. The was a yellow filling with no hint of taste other than the water logged iceberg lettuce. The bread was the cheapest sort that is polystyrene like and stretchy in consistency. So disappointed, certainly not a 'deli' sandwich! I think also that smiles must be reserved for regular customers as I certainly didn't get one. I wonder if it's changed...
