Came across this place and was quite excited with the menu offering Tapas. Unfortunately I wish I hadn't bothered, to say that it was awful doesn't go far enough. I could sense that the staff were stressed by the way they were quite short with customers but I tried to lighten the conversation by asking if they'd been busy. We ordered some tapas and our drinks were brought out. We waited a little while for food but wasn't overly concerned as we were enjoying the visit to Ludlow. The tapas came out after the waiting staff had chased the order up. I queried the missing bread and then 2 slices of Warburtons(staff words) arrived not very Spanish, they had run out. The portions were small but again not too concerned about that. But on finishing my partner pointed out some hairs on the dishes. In fact there were lots of them, I felt sick. What sort of kitchen do they run to serve food in such a disgusting way. Others customers had the same. I would describe the hair as white cats hair. I still feel one in my throat. I left £10 to cover the drinks and heaved my way out of the door never to step in again, whilst voices were raised in the kitchen, what a horrid place.

This place is wonderful. Doesn't look much inside, but the food is beautiful & so reasonable. We had 8 tapas dishes along with several beers & wines for £60. Staff really friendly, the young waiter was superb & worked so hard. Took a long time to get our food initially but defo worth the wait! Lovely ambience with Spanish music & owners hubby very welcoming & chatty. Loved the chickpea & chorizo, chicken in wine & garlic - everything was super tasty. Highly recommend!

I found this place on maps while visiting Ludlow Castle. Despite the small number of people inside we waited about 40 minutes for our order (for which we were apologized for). The food was generally tasty, the tortilla was very good, but everything was quite greasy. I expected it to be a place with a Spanish atmosphere, but unfortunately it is not at all. The decoration is inconsistent and not very nice.

I must admit I was wary of this place before going there... as someone intimately familiar with Spanish Food (and with expensive low quality experiences that come with trying many tapas places out, esp in England) there was not a lot of promise in the prospect of my visit here: a website with more Spanish misspellings than dishes; photos from previous diners looking reminiscent of other greasy attempts at tapas elsewhere... but it had been recommended by someone who does generally know best, so we bit the bullet and booked a table for 2, 7pm, Friday. The food was great. Not for the first time this summer a gem was uncovered. The chef (from Valencia in Southern Spain) came out to say hello and stayed for a welcome chat, the food was prepared from scratch (as well as every element within) the squid was fresh and battered, so NOT supermarket 'calamari rings' found in other establishments. Patatas cut and fried by hand, mushrooms in a kitchen made garlic sauce and a spicy salsa which blew my socks off, in the best possible way. This is a kitchen where the chef is not afraid of flavour, no bland Spanglish cuisine here. And the best bit was visiting the kitchen afterwards to say goodbye and finding her cooking away surrounded by the raw ingredients prepped and ready to go. Gracias, y...

Really disappointing after seeing a high average review.

We were sat under a dirty fake flower display with cobwebs and fruit flies attached, our server shared they had arguments with the chef over their handwriting so they took 5mins to write down our food order, we waited nearly an hour to receive a bread with balsamic vinegar glaze in cheap olive oil, the calamari was over cooked and was extremely chewy. The chef had a brown apron that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. The vodka tonic came with a tesco own brand soda can. Plus we got to listen to ganham style, cotton eyed Joe and many more through out our experience- not the romantic dinner for two experience we had planned.

We love to support local places, so I hope this can help the owners to make changes so they can enjoy a thriving business as you can see it has so...
