Ordered two frozen yoghurt. We couldn't have Nutella as a topping as it didn't appear on the frozen yoghurt menu, (even though there was Nutella in stock for other items). Having ordered from the restricted frozen yoghurt menu, the first serving took ages and, rather than being a lovely piped "whipp" shape, it was mashed up, barely a full portion and turned out to be the last of thr frozen yoghurt in the machine. We waited ages while the staff member tried in vain to get more out, then decided to top up the machine with (unfrozen, liquid) yoghurt and then wondered why none would come out of the machine tap. Ended up asking for a refund for the second frozen yoghurt, and my son ate the one, less-than-pleasant looking portion we did get Staff member then couldn't get the till/ card machine to work for a refund, so, despite having paid on a card, I had to accepts a cash refund. So, would be fine if (i) the fro-yo machine was topped up (ii) staff communicated a bit better with customer when there is a problem (iii) staff were trained adequately...

We took 2 mins to think about what we should order, and when we were ready, they complete blanked us and didn’t even acknowledge we were waiting to order. They decided to keep making milkshakes. One of the workers even stopped and just stared blankly for a moment. That time she took could’ve been used to take orders for customers! We stood there for 20 minutes and decided to leave. The queue was out the door, and the people at the back of the queue wondered why we left empty handed. We said ‘We’re leaving as the queue is out the door and we’ve been at the front of the line for 20 minutes and we weren’t even acknowledged’. I decided to go to Costa which was next door, which was the better decision as it only took a quarter of the time that Shakeaway spent not even acknowledging us. What a waste of a parking ticket. Read moreI dropped in for a Milk shake on Saturday afternoon having read the menu I was quite looking forward to it, unfortunately my experience was tainted due to the totally negative attitude of the girl on the Till. When asked if I wanted "anything on top", and not being sure what she meant , I replied just the straw please to which I was subject to a tirade of sarcastic abuse, this young lady needs to learn some respect, She chose to work in a customer based industry and as such someone needs to teach her how to treat customers, I can gauruntee if she has done this to other people you will be losing business hand over fist, classic management failure to train employees correctly, and petulant lack of manners to an ill...
