Stumbled upon this place this weekend and what an amazing place it is. The staff, and owners, who clearly take great pride in working there, are very polite, and friendly, and the clientele is a very eclectic mix, made up of both young and older generations. The food and drink was excellent, and well priced - if this was in my home town of Portsmouth it would be double the price to eat and drink. Read moreVisited on a Friday night for a friend's local Stag Do. It was £3 entry each which was a bit disappointing. The entrance/exit was a tight walkway which wasn't ideal and then you were in a basement level bar with some good live music in the form of reggae. The drinks were reasonably priced and there was a good selection. Seating was average but again the walkways between quite tight and people congregated in them making it even more difficult to get around. It was quite good fun though so definitely worth a visit to make up your own opinion...

I had made the booking, a few days in advance, because I was taking part in their "chilli challenge" (which must be booked days prior). The manager was very enthusiastic, took pictures (with my consent) and shared the event on Facebook.
