Awful waste of money. Ordered munchie box and a meal for one as the we knew from our first delivery the portions were tiny but with a just eat offer of 40% off we thought we would give them a second chance , everything on the first delivery was tasty unfortunately not this time 6 dry little pieces of chicken with a handful of chips , chilli and garlic chicken was just sweet and sour with the salt and chilli season thrown in with added cubes of precooked chicken , fried rice was dry and had bits of burnt possibly from previous bits of egg in served in a tiny container , noodles again very small portion for £5 tasted stale , they sent cubed chicken in ginger and spring onion instead of king prawns only thing that was actually nice were the spring rolls , I rang the takeaway thinking the driver had not long left and would possibly come back but it took ages to answer and when he did it was very loud abrupt and alot of background noise, he immediately asked for a Postcode which I gave he then shouted its on they way , I was like no its here and its wrong , I've been given chicken instead of prawn he just shouted refund and put the phone down , no apology no offer of resending it back out. If the food wasn't enough to put you off his customer service skills were luckily just eat sorted out a partial refund even with 40% off it was not worth the money and certainly wouldn't of liked to of paid £60+ which was the original price which would've been absolute robbery! Just eat and other delivery services should take them off the app and not be...
Read moreOrdered at around 12am on my girlfriends phone yesterday as it stated the delivery time was around 20-35 minutes. After waiting an hour I called the restaurant to get an estimate as to what time the food would be arriving. The staff member who picked up the phone assured me it would be there in 15 minutes as the delivery driver had, ‘just left the shop’. Unsurprisingly the food still hadn’t arrived over 45 minutes later so called again and after ringing 3 times the staff member picked up the phone and let me know that the delivery driver had, ‘just left the shop again’ and was incredibly rude to me. Despite waiting 2 and a half hours in total the food never arrived, and the restaurant and delivery driver had the cheek to say the order had been completed and delivered thus taking £34 from us. Awaiting on a refund now but don’t order from this joke of a restaurant. I’ve also read the presumed owners replies to peoples concerns and reviews about his/hers food and delivery team and they clearly take offence at the fact that the quality of their food is laughable to say the least and their so called, ‘customer service’ is beyond awful. Uber Eats rated them 3.4 stars, google rates them 1.7. If I could rate this place with a negative value I really would as they clearly have no interest in upholding a reputable business. Surprised they even have a rating at this point....
Read moreWe ordered from WestView off UberEats tonight and the website stated delivery times of 15-30 minutes (in hindsight this was too good to be true). Cut to 1 hour 5 minutes later and we still had no food. After calling the restaurant 5x with no answer, I finally found their WhatsApp contact details on Facebook. To their credit, they responded to my message quite quickly and gave a new ETA of a further 20-25 minutes and that the order was already with the driver. Given our address is 10-15 minutes from the house and the driver already had our food, even with additional orders a delivery time of 1hour 30min is insane.
Onto the food (once it eventually arrived), disappointed to say the least. Everything was stone cold...SHOCKER I KNOW; and there was a weird liquid all over the bags and packaging. The Singapore noodles contained Prawns (not stated on UberEats) and the chips left a weird aftertaste. If that wasn't enough to lose our appetite the chicken was chewy and undercooked and the spring rolls were soggy...we were also missing the drinks for our order but let's be honest they would have probably just been another disappointment.
If I had to summarise in three words: Bland, cold, and inedible. I suggest the restaurant owners reconsider their business model because continuing like this is unsustainable.
I, for one, will never be ordering...
