Awful doesn't begin to describe it. Placed an order of over £50 with them through just eat. The order was marked as delivered but we did NOT receive delivery. We phoned them and the so called manager said (verbatim) 'it's not our problem. Talk to the driver'. Told him I obviously can't do that because I don't know the driver or have his contact details. As the restaurant they should be trying to resolve the problem. He responded "We are not going to do anything. Not our problem. Go talk to Just Eat. Not my problem. I told him their business chooses to use just eat for deliveries so the onus is on them to resolve issues when they arise, like a broken record he responded 'not our problem".
Take a look at their responses to the poor reviews here, some of their rude behaviour and complete lack of willingness to take even a modicum of accountability for their poor service shines through. What a way to run a business.
They have lost a customer and I will ensure I inform as many people as possible of this so they don't risk being swindled by these crooks.
ETA: Your response shows exactly what a farce you are running.
Your business chooses to make deliveries through just eat. Therefore, as I have already said, the onus to rectify any issues is on you. You told the customer to contact the Just Eat driver because, in the words of your manager 'it's not my problem'. Do you think I know the driver on a personal level or something? Why would I have his number? You are lieing. I spoke to a female initially, I was not rude nor did I use any profanities during our conversation. She passed the phone onto the manager, who was rude and aggressive towards ME, not the other way around. The manager was abrasive and rude the minute he came on the phone and repeatedly said "it's not my problem" when I told him my delivery had not arrived. In the end out of pure frustration with the managers 'I don't give a damn' attitude I said (and I quote) 'you can eff off then' and hung up. That was the extent of any rudeness or 'profanity' on my part through the duration of the call, and I was driven to saying that by the managers aggressive attitude. So I am not apologetic. You have not tried contacting me. I am happy to show screenshots of my call history/missed calls. So this is another bare faced lie. Surprise surprise. Speaking with this restaurant is like banging your head against a brick wall. How could I have enjoyed the food. I DIDN'T RECEIVE IT. I have CCTV footage & can prove this. No I don't think I will talk to your owner. I have no desire to self flagellate. Instead I will never give you my business in the future and I will ensure I tell everyone to avoid your crooked establishment.
ETA: You don't even put on the pretence of professionalism, and continue to lie & exhibit your thuggish attitude.
This is the first time I have seen a business incessantly engage in harassing customers through continually pushing lies and being unable to let go of the fact that they have received a negative review that calls out their unprofessional dealings. You have made the choice to treat your customers like dirt, the consequence of that (at the bare minimum) is your customers using whatever review platform is available to them to warn other potential customers of your fraudulent practices. If you can't hack that perhaps you should try reforming your practices and running an honest business. If you are unwilling to do that, you need to get over the fact that you will recieve negative feedback and stop trying to cover up your shortcomings by harassing your customers and accusing them of having a personal vendetta against you. You have made similar accusation against other customers who have detailed negative experiences with your establishment on this platform.
Passive aggression will only get you so far. The mark of a good business is having the humility to admit where you have gone wrong and using the experience to inform future improvements. Not throwing false accusations at customers, and harassing & verbally...
Read moreMade my way to Bun Squad after some high recommendations from friends and I must say I was pleasantly surprised!
High Wycombe finally has a place that does really good food and the burger I had here did not disappoint
I opted for a Fiery Shaq in the Beef and one in the Chicken because 2 burgers are better than one! I sacked off the fries as this was more than enough food for me.
The Beef consisted of 2 smashed patties which were cooked to perfection, Juicy with a nice crust and flavoursome
The Chicken had a fried Chicken Patty which was very nice, Juicy and a good size. Even though I had 2 of the same, the flavour profiles were different. Also the food came out at a good time which is always a bonus
The decor is really really nice, they seemed to have gone for a a Basketball theme which is a nice touch!
Lastly the owner Nomi is a true gem! He took the time out to go through the menu and even sat with me for a chat after I'd finished my food. Really nice guy!
Overall will definitely recommend to Family and Friends and...
Read moreHonestly, a decent place to eat. Though I'm still holding a grudge regarding their opening day. We waited outside for an hour just for the workers to tell us and the rest waiting a certain "celebrity" had VIP access to cut the line. We thought maybe Imran Khan or possibly a local star like done Waki but Nope. He was so unknown, we heard muttering saying "sooo.. when's the celebrity coming?" As the celebrity was walking into bunsquad. You'd think money gives you power and influence but Nope, it gives you the ability to cut the lines of a high Wycombe takeaway. A takeaway on the same road where the most uttered phrased is "do you have any spare change?". That's not a flex. Really felt like the bum squad that day. Apart from...
