Street Cups — Restaurant in Guildford

I recently visited StreetCup in Guildford and never get disappointed. This time, I brought a friend who had never been before, and she was impressed. The owner, who is incredibly warm and friendly, recommended an iced coffee- and it was absolutely perfect. You can really tell they care about quality; the coffee is consistently excellent every time I visit. The shop itself is clean, welcoming, and has a relaxed atmosphere. The service is always great and friendly. It is clear they take pride in both their coffee and customer experience. I have been to this place a couple of times and normally have a lovely time. This time I walked in and the staff member was speaking another language to someone in the shop. Completely ignored me and carried on the conversation. Then this couple jumped in front of the queue and the staff member said nothing. Then I got a cup of smoothie for £5.50!!! Just a frozen fruit packet of fruit with some vanilla and milk! Seems a lot of money. I love supporting local small but and would love to return in the future but it’s just so expensive and not the best experience, would be nice to feel...

Popped in at about 12.45 on Saturday 11th May. Some people outside, and three members of staff. One was busy doing coffee on the machine, the girl in the T Shirt (well, not sure why she was there at all, just stood and did nothing). Whilst we were waiting NOT ONE of the staff members acknowledged us, stood for about 6 minutes and then left. I can only assume that none of these staff members were owners !!! They need training or replaced Shame because the food on show looked nice. Forget even basic Hospitality skills, politeness and common sense...
