Brooklyn — Restaurant in Leeds

I didn't actually go inside this venue as I am used to places like Living Rooms near the train station in Leeds City Centre, however I was enjoying a night out with some work colleagues and we decided to try the other side of town. I was walking past this bar and what I witnessed was truly shocking behavior. There was a lady standing outside appearing to be talking with someone in the street, it may have been a doorman for the bar, and then a man came out of the bar screaming at the top of his voice..."NO WAY!! NO f**KING WAY!! SHES NOT COMING IN HERE!! The lady seemed to look quite scared and another lady came running up to her and hurried her away from this man. I am not used to seeing this type of animal behavior and felt quite intimidated even though this mans actions where not intended to me. When speaking to one of my work colleagues about this they advised that the man actually worked in the bar as a DJ and he was known as DJ GQ, or DJ Prolific. I was amazed that anyone with this type of character would behave in this way at the place of employment. Atmosphere is amazing if you’re actually let in, Bouncers are constantly discriminating against LGBTQIA+ people and refuse them entry if they’re not presenting very masculine and ask for us to bring women to be allowed in and then even when I ever do come with my girlfriends, they still refuse me entry or any of my gay friends and only let the women in. This is a great venue if you want to relax after a meeting or to bring friends.

The staff is professional and friendly. Both the door and the bar staff seem to pay attention to customer service.The overall atmosphere is good although it can get a bit crowded. Still, if you are looking for a place to celebrate or just to lay back a bit, this is a good venue.
