100 Wardour Street is a spot we've been to before. It's perfect for special occasions, if you want to dress up, enjoy live music and have good food. The special occasion this time was finding an amazing deal on Time Out; 3 Courses and a glass of wine for £19. We had seen there 3 courses and a glass of bubbles offer, with the exact same menu and bubbles instead of wine, but costing £35 per person. We love a good deal. Our waiter Christian was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, helping us decide on what to eat and providing great conversation. We were seated and ordered the House Rose Wine (were not the biggest wine lovers. Normally, we go for cocktails, but it did the job). For starters, we ordered the Korean Fried Chicken (which was served with pickled cucumber, bean sprouts and sesame seeds) and the Burrata ( served with Lovage pesto, cherry Tomato, pine kernels and flatbread). Both dishes tasted amazing. However, we had to give the best start award to the Korean fried chicken. The acidity from the cucumber paired with the chicken was absolutely delicious. For our mains, we chose the Chicken Thai green curry with peppers, baby corn and jasmine rice, and the Blackened Cajun spice salmon burrito, served with tomatillo salsa, slaw and guacamole. Out of the two, we preferred the Thai green curry it was full of flavour, and we loved the vibrant green colour. The curry also has a veggie option; substituting the chicken with aubergine. We like jasmine rice, but the rice here just tasted like plain white rice, no flavour. We also  had the parmesan fries to share. We were so stuffed , but dessert was on the menu. We have the Valrhona chocolate brownie, served with vanilla ice cream and three scoops of sorbet (mango, mango, lemon). By far, the sorbet was the best dish. It really packed a punch. The ratio of brownies to ice cream was very one-sided on the brownie side. Overall, we had a great time, ate great food, and met a good person. Just a head up it is on the pricier side, we ordered fries and still water, and it was £18 (with service charge).

I had reasonable hopes for 100 Wardour Street, as I love German Gymnasium (see my review on here). It was a date night for me and my wife, our son was away, and I had finally accepted I was going to miss the England match… The venue is fairly mad, and I imagine pretty fun if you are young and enjoy mainstream pop of the Sam Smith variety (confession: I do not) but the food… the food was unforgivably bad. Including a bottle of wine & two g&ts our bill was in excess of £200. Neither of us could eat more than half of our starters or mains. I had squid to start. One of my favourite dishes at German Gymnasium, but this was like some kind of cruel, crude parody. After a few mouthfuls I recalled what the taste reminded me of - Tesco frozen southern friend chicken bites that my mum used to serve up…. A huge portion that largely went undisturbed. My main was monkfish, which again I poked around my plate suspiciously. Rather than the meaty, flavoursome texture I’m used to I was greeted by a strange, waterlogged, spongy consistency which to be honest slightly turned my stomach. We didn’t risk a desert. We stumbled out into the streets with empty stomachs and an even emptier wallet, but at least were amused by the sight of the human pyramid that had formed on Eros in Piccadilly Circus. The staff were good and it was so loud in there I saw no point in raising any issues with them, but I did email afterwards to express concerns and got a rather perfunctory reply. That’s fine - they are a popular venue and don’t need me to keep them busy. However, I feel honour bound to warn any likeminded food fans to avoid…

Recently, I had the pleasure of being served by Sally, a waitress whose exceptional service turned a simple meal into an unforgettable experience. From the moment she approached our table, it was evident that Sally was committed to providing top-tier hospitality.

What stood out immediately was her warm and welcoming demeanor. Her smile was genuine, and her tone was friendly and approachable. This kind of first impression makes all the difference when dining out, setting a positive tone for the entire meal. Sally took the time to introduce herself, which always makes the experience feel more personal and attentive. Her approach was never rushed, and we felt truly valued from the very beginning.

As the meal progressed, Sally’s professionalism continued to shine through. She struck the perfect balance between being attentive and giving us space to enjoy our time. Her timing was impeccable—she checked in at just the right moments, making sure our drinks were topped off and asking if we needed anything without interrupting our conversations. It was clear that she had a great sense of timing, knowing when to appear and when to give us the space to enjoy our meal.

Another notable quality was Sally’s thorough knowledge of the menu. She was able to answer all of our questions with confidence and offered thoughtful suggestions based on our preferences. It’s always impressive when a server knows the menu inside and out and can recommend dishes with such accuracy. This not only enhanced our dining experience but also made us feel confident in our choices.

Despite being busy, Sally maintained a calm and collected demeanor, never rushing through tasks or making us feel like we were just another table. Her service wasn’t just about getting the job done—it was about making us feel welcome, comfortable, and valued throughout the meal.

In conclusion, Sally’s exceptional service turned an ordinary dining experience into something memorable. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and warm personality are qualities that make her stand out. It’s clear she takes pride in her work, and this is reflected in the way she cares for her guests. I can’t wait to visit again and hope to have the pleasure of being served by Sally once more. She truly is a gem in the world...

I recently visited 100 Wardour Street for a night out with friends, and I cannot recommend it highly enough—especially thanks to our phenomenal waitress, Sally. From the moment we stepped into the swanky, multipurpose venue, we were greeted by an energetic buzz that perfectly matched the stylish lounge and eatery vibe upstairs. The chic décor, ambient lighting, and comfy seating all exuded a certain sophisticated charm that set the stage for a memorable evening.

Sally made it extraordinary. Her warmth and genuine enthusiasm shone through from the very start. She greeted us with the biggest smile and made us feel instantly at ease. Despite the bustling atmosphere, Sally was always on hand to ensure our glasses stayed filled and our questions about the menu were answered with care. Her knowledge of both the food and cocktail selections was top-notch. She recommended dishes that ended up being our favorites of the night—every bite was even better than the last.

Beyond her impeccable service, Sally’s personality took our experience from good to truly unforgettable. She balanced professionalism with a friendliness that made it feel like we were being hosted by a close friend. Even when the lounge filled up and the pace picked up, Sally never missed a beat. She remained attentive, patient, and eager to go the extra mile to ensure we had the best possible experience.

After our meal, we ventured downstairs to the dance club portion of 100 Wardour Street, where the music and vibrant crowd carried the night to another level. It’s a thrill to have an all-in-one venue that blends excellent dining, lively entertainment, and warm hospitality under one roof. But it was Sally’s stand-out service that left the biggest impression.

If you’re looking for a swanky spot in London that ticks all the boxes—great food, stylish surroundings, a fun dance scene, and above all, outstanding service—100 Wardour Street should be at the top of your list. When you go, be sure to ask for Sally. Her welcoming smile, menu expertise, and genuine hospitality will turn an already wonderful evening into something...
