Costa Coffee - Sidcup Station — Restaurant in London

The best part of my child graduating from the nearby college is we won't have to visit this branch any more! The service has always been hit or miss, the way the staff talk to students is terrible, I have witnesses rudeness many times! Today my last visit thank goodness, there was a new member of staff who was awful, she was preparing sandwiches in the wrong order so there was a delay, she then gave a student an awful look when they asked for a ketcup satchet, I had ordered toast which took ages and then it was only cooked one side, when I asked for it to be heated again she rolled her eyes and went away huffing and puffing, I said I was sorry to be a pain and again the attitude was terrible! They also don't honour promotions that are displayed! They have now split the branch into a bubble tea kiosk which has lost alot of the some what atmosphere it had before! I would say to other students they show no respect to younger people despite being their biggest customers walk...

The coffee isn't great. Bill's is much better. But it's my local and the setting is good. Recently I was sworn at by a guy in there who was drinking wine from a bottle, and was swearing at other people. He threatened me. I spoke to staff and they said he'd been there for two or three hours. Customers were just leaving. I asked for the manager but was told he wasn't there. I phoned the police and they told me they'd be there within an hour. It looked like the young staff were unaware this guy was guilty of threatening behaviour, and his drinking alcohol in unlicensed premises was also illegal. The staff need training at...

Stopped in whilst it was pouring down with rain for a hot chocolate and toastie to do some laptop work. The atmosphere was quiet as it was just before school finished. There were other laptop users so I had to walk around little to find a plug socket. Ordering my food and drink was quick and simple. However receiving them was another story. Between three people behind the counter. Neither of them could get my hot chocolate order correct on the first go. My toastie was left out waiting as they tried to correct my chocolate order.
